I can't tell you, as a founder of this game, how much it has disappointed me... But I'm still playing... fml.

The lore is inconsistent so MWO is doing just do, its considered the lore and is itself inconsistent with other sources. There you go.

You're right that it is a good place for flavour quirks, but thats it. Flavour scale does not translate well to what is in practice fun and balanced.

Solo's speaking as a shining example of extreme behavioral toxicity.
So ad hominem attacks are not a shining example of extreme behavioral toxicity.
Its that what your saying.
That's what your quote comes across as, ad hominem attack, Hurbis etc.

ad hominem is not a fallacy
Indeed
What part were you referring too?
Or was your response a generalization of the topic?

This becomes even sadder when the person first to call out others on (alleged) ad hominem is the person that came closest to actually comitting the "ad hominem" fallacy by attempting to dismiss an argument (and the associated opinion) by saying "so you say" - thereby attacking the authority of the person voicing the argument instead of addressing the substance of said argument.

Just getting solo queue back does.
Your entitled to your opinion but it don't interest me either.
Groups even infest the forums with all the alt accounts, so organized.
Targeting solo opinions, saying alot of things I disagree with.
Hence so you say.
I don't see what your upset about.
Seems like fake outrage to me.
You guys derail a thread over a "So you say."
Not very constructive or positive.

There's a lot to unpack in those three sentences. It almost sounds like you feel that the opinions of others are a conspiracy against ideas you support.
So my basic and honest question... if you are not interested in the opinions of others, why do you discuss things on a forum with them?

The opinions of others rekt solo queue.
Those are opinions I am not interested in.
So yeah bad opinions I skim.
You don't have to like it.

Because they aren't suppose to be that small.. And Assaults aren't suppose to be as big.. Its just accuracy to the core design..

I don't mind Lights being small, but I don't think their survivability should be heavily reliant on their size. And they complain that streaks are anti-lights. The reality is that most weapon are pretty much anti-light, Streaks are just the most accessible in the low-end of the player skill, you're actually better off with an HGR against a Flea IF YOU CAN LAND IT.
It could be normalized and perceived to be more fair if every other weapon is just as reliable in hitting that small bugger, and just approach it with armor and structure quirks.
Agreed their size is what is artificially making them indestructible.. when it takes a lance of assaults to kill one and a lance of lights kills a lance of assaults in seconds something is very off.. Lights should not have anywhere near that capability.

Larger mechs which rely on armor instead of mobility exist in this game already. They're called "assaults"
Essentially what you're proposing would make light mechs into medium ones
Samial, on 06 April 2021 - 10:37 PM, said:
The core design disagrees from source to source on how large they should be, and if we stuck to lore in this game we'd have everything fire at the exact same rate.
Samial, on 06 April 2021 - 10:37 PM, said:
It takes a lance of assaults to kill one if none of the assaults can hit their shots. Plenty of assaults, heavies, and mediums have more than enough firepower in a single alpha to take a leg off even the tankiest light. Also if you get in a position where four lights jump on you and you have no support ... well, I won't say it's on you because of NASCAR, but it's something that generally should not be happening.
