Played the Event and caught up with the Thread here... However, I have the answer to anyone who asked the question, "Have I Gone Mad?"... That answer is, "Yes, you most certainly have... Others may have gone mad along with you.", as I'm sure this Event left me a little crazy.

Unless some awful glitch occurs that I know nothing of, you should get the "Mad Cat Mk. II 'MCII-B' Mech" AND "Mech Bay" Items which are shown then placed into your possession. Therefore, you might want to go quickly finish up that part of the "Have I Gone Mad" Challenge before time can run out, and redeem it at some point using the In-Game Event Browser before the Post-Event Time expires.


As a side note, I suspect that people who have been complaining about not getting theirs likely used the Web Page Event Display's Reward Redeem Function instead of the In-Game Event Browser's Reward Claim Function to get their items. In turn, they would subsequently miss something due to a lack of a notification in the game and trying to scroll around too fast, which might cause them to think that they did not receive the Reward which they put in the effort for.

As I pointed out, the part 9 (the trial mechs) is not completed.
Thats why Im asking.
Maybe ill get the part 9 rewards, ie skin + 100mc ? i dont know rly.

Yup. Doing the trial mechs part just gets you the skin. Grab some missiles. Do some damage. Get yourself a free mech.

Leone speaks (and gets a like from me for) the truth here. Rewards are always listed after the Challenge Requirements created to Unlock them. So if you do something, the item you're getting is not separated by a header from what it takes to earn it.

If you take a look at the ingame event browser, it's a little "E"-shaped icon on the lower bar of the main client screen, it might become clearer what exactly rewards what.

They actually checked that before asking or remarking about anything. Proof at Post #127 On This Thread (https://mwomercs.com/forums/topic/279797-everyones-mad-here-april-free-mech/page__view__findpost__p__6393109) (as of when this was posted) for you to see that post's text. Unfortunately, it was apparently not that clear to them, and several of us had to explain to them before they understood things properly.

Ye and.....

I just figure out (after my long return), its regulary on monthly basis. Thats a very smart tactics from PGI to keep players IN.
There is 830 mechs ingame, so giving 12 for free per year is not gamebreaking nor $$ breaking deal for PGI.
Way to go.

Well... Unless you want to have two or more of a Variant for having multiple Loadout designs all pre-ready for taking onto the battlefield. We still don't have the ability to save multiple setups of Weapon Groups as small snippets of additional data, among other things.

Heh... That would be nice... Imagine also being able to switch between two Weapon Group Configs quickly via a toggle while you're in battle!

(Still doesn't beat having two of a Variant so that you can have two different Loadouts ready, though. At least that's something which happens to be currently possible, thankfully! ...)
