4ASRM6 fits just fine. Its the classic brawler Griffin thats only hend back by the awkward hitboxes and very large size that makes the mech easy to counter.

If you’re going that route, I prefer 2 LL and 4 srm4’s. The srm4 doesn’t need Artemis for spread like the srm6 does, and the additional range of the large lasers gives you options as well as putting the damage curve back to where 4 asrm6’s would have been.

Thanks to all of you, I think I will run 2erLL 4Ssrm4 ecm for a bit, kybd/mouse hard for me (im ancient) and havent figured my joystick yet. ERLL will give me range to assist the hvy/assualt Ssrm4s will allow me to chase away the lights. 33%heat ok, but
im really a heavy pilot.

Taking mouse sensitivity down to minimum ought to help with getting things working.

Joysticks don't work for aiming.

Gagis,
Thanks I did that Im at .2 and 80 for FOV

also I put Ssrm4's on my griffin 2n but in the training arena they would not fire off tic 2, realigned them to tic 1 but still would not fire, so i swapped them for srm4's and they fire from either tic as they should, i wonder if the 2n isnt allowed to have Ssrm's (grin)

PS when your my age its hard to make both hands operate at the same time (hahahaha)

Streak SRM’s don’t fire without a lock-on. Press R, and center your reticule on the target. You’ll need to do this every time you want to engage a target, and ECM will often prevent a lock-on. For that reason, it’s usually simpler to run regular SRM’s like you’ve done. But if you still want the streaks, a Beagle Probe would be a good investment to cancel out one nearby ECM that might block your lock.

Best support medium in the game is the triple ac2 bushwhacker, support your team by blinding and killing your teams enemies.

The bushwanker can do either 4AC2 or 3RAC2. Not sure which one you mean.

Arcticwolf A with 2x flamers 4x SRM6 ecm and active probe.

You run with the big brawlers offering ecm/counter ecm/probe. Shut down their target and add firepower with the SRM6 on chain for heat management. Coolshot isn't a bad idea.

The problem is that you have to spend a lot of facetime.

Trying to remember the exact variant but there's a dual AMS Vindicator, slap a couple of PPCs and an XL engine on it and you've got a nice missile screen/ppc poptart/harasser that fits in with any group

So, recently picked up a kit fox with 3 ams-ecm with a bunch of HMGs and ER mediums. Kinda like that sort of gameplay, being able to provide good cover for my team, while also being able to dish out decent damage on medium-low ranges to help securing kills, or to scare off enemy backstabbing lights. One problem i faced is somewhat low survivability if you get focused by anything.
So, i was looking to get more tonnage, so i can perhaps tank a hit or two, and not instantly lose an arm or a leg. Is there any mediums that fit the same gameplay style?

Ye could give the Catapult-Jester (Hero-mech) a try, if ye have the mc to spare (via the event or otherwise). Double-AMS, lots of energy-hardpoints and a well rounded heavy variant in general. Most often used as a laser-boat (LPLs and ERMeds or LLs or MPLs) - not a medium though.

Wolfhound 1B another option, double AMS, lot of energy-hardpoints and quite durable - not a medium though.

One of my favorite support mediums is the Cicada 3M. It can bring ECM and one AMS to the table, and I field it with 2 Large Lasers and 2 Medium Lasers. As a big mech escort for those "Protected Medium" bonus points, it has the range to shoot what they shoot and keep the fleas off of them.
