Kodiak KDK-3(C) feels way more disgusting to use, high mounted dual C-LB20-X ACs and quad medium pulses shred components and deal with lights well to boot.
Throw in the shiny green on black Jade Falcon camo...chubby inducing.

My favorite mech changes over time. Right now I think it's my 3 RAC2 CHP-1NB or my 2 UAC20 HBK-IIC.

But my guilty pleasure mech right now is my NCT-B with 90 LRMs. I don't play it often, and it's often feast or famine. But when I drop with a group or have a good spotter it sprays so much damage. It's just merciless. But I feel bad for the enemy team. Dying from LRM rain with no escape.

The Archer, specifically the ARC-2R.

Other than replacing the LRMs with Artemis versions and added a Tag plus more ammo by essentially having only an ER Medium Laser on each arm, it's just an Archer as intended.

...And I love the damn thing.

c1(f) with all the upgrades on the classic build. A lot of people underestimate what 4 mls on a heavy can do. Then when they try and get away I bomb the 30 lrm on them.

My old Highlander 733P. A generalist with 2 LL, 2ML, 2 LRM15+Artemis. It just never stops dealing damage. Yes, you can do the same exact thing with marauder, but... Highlander! With bagpipe warhorn!

Wolverine Quarantine. MRM40, a few jump jets, and the biggest engine you can fit. Just a great tanky skirmisher, you can poptart, you have the speed to flank, and the armour to brawl. I love my medium mrm boats, but the Quarantine feels the best to play - and the c-bill bonus doesn't hurt.

My all time fav mechs are the Crab 27® and EBJ Prime(i) they play and can be built almost the same.

Annihilators they are just so op.

and pretty much all the Maulers.. You can build them so many different ways.

Clan side would be my Adders, Direwolves and MadCat mkIIs and i must say after this last event i have a soft spot for the shadowcat with 2 erppcs been years since i enjoyed that mech.

I think the game has enough of them meta builds, you know they are going to work that is why they are meta.

I go for more exotic builds. Like an XL170 Urbanmech with UAC10 and 2.5t of ammo.
