[Bud Crue]

Bumping at the start of another day. I gotta admit this is odd to me, I expected more interest in a free pack in exchange for a build, especially since folks are posting builds all over the forums.

Very generous of you Bud Crue, thanks for the contest!
Here is my favorite mech, the CPLT-K2

This K2 "Light Sniper" build takes advantage of the CPLT-K2 quirks (-10% energy heat, -5% PPC heat, +20% PPC velocity and +10% range) and combines them with the latest patch changes to both Light Gauss and Light PPC making it a pretty cool mech to play in my opinion.

2x Light Gauss Rifles | 3x Light PPC's | 1x AMS | XL Engine 255

Pros:
- Long range (also no minimum range thanks to the last patch changes)
- Fast PPC velocity
- Low alpha cooldown (~3sec)
- Low alpha heat (less than 20%)
- Easy to play

Cons:
- XL engine (definitely not a tank lol)
- Speed is not great
- Not good for those who like close combat

The gameplay is pretty straight forward, charge both Gauss and as soon as you release fire all PPC's, repeat

Sidenotes:
- You might want to add 1/2 Gauss and remove 1/2 AMS ammo
- I suggest investing points into the mobility skill tree especially for that extra torso speed/yaw/pitch
- If you are feeling adventurous you can lower your armor, remove some ammo/AMS, add a 4th Light PPC's and eat the ghost heat (~40%), its pretty fun but not worth the extra 5 dmg to be honest
- You can also chain fire the PPC's if you like being extra annoying lol
- The cooldown for both weapons is not the same so you'll have to wait a little (~0.4s) to attack again, that way you can fire both Gauss and PPC's at the same time

And remember, long range is your friend with this build

My CTF-3L.

Also doable on CTF-3D. SNPPC and LBX in one group, just alpha striking. Thanks to nice projectile speed synergy the ppcs are hitting first (1200 projectile speed, opening), then lbx (1100 projectile speed, critting). Projectile speed difference is small enough to hit running light mechs with everything on one weapon group.
Possible on other CTFs and maybe Warhammers but the ballistic velocity quirks interfere with projectile speeds.

That's the theory. It works well but I don't really know if this "synergy" is a thing and if it makes any difference.

My favorite older build that will be viable again is the wolverine 6k with 3 large pulse lasers. Nothing too crazy, but still is fantastic.

Just a note about the OP: the ONE UNIQUE BUILD rule is so that each entrant gets a shot at a mechpack. It's fine that you are posting multiple builds but I am only going to consider your first post..
