This should herald the return of real diverse map conditions, and they should be varied, splashy, and exciting. Maybe one match you get polar highlands on a clear day, and snipers and lrms reign supreme. OR, maybe you get polar highlands in the middle of a midnight winter storm, where the dark and the snow drop your line of sight down to 400 meters, and your sensors (including thermals) down to no more than 600, and you need to send out lights to sniff out the enemy team so you can brawl them, since locks will be few and far between.

But we're getting off the rails here.

Kinda like mwo extreme.. I like where your going with this.. but without the map selection..

dropping map selection is like putting a bandaid on a bullet hole.

people don't like it because it reduces map variety (people only want to play the "good maps") but if all the maps had something to offer, there would be far fewer complaints.

I don't really have strong opinions on this issue in particular, i think it just highlights that may people are observing problems in the game, they just have yet to make the connection between those problems and the lack of pre-match lobbies, respawns, and diverse weather and environment conditions in maps. These are things we should have had the whole time.

It comes and goes. I'll get Polar 20 times in a row certain times and HPG 20 times in a row other times. Run more mix set up you'll be good at any range any map. Not a fan of Solaris at all but alt+f4 kinda jerk move.
