Finally, now I have what I need to get my mod going for real (wasn't much point getting into the more involved stuff with the risk of it not working on every single patch and/or a massive DLC coming but I've got the full weapon/ammo/mech roster in backup files). Not perfect as I was counting on a rotary implementation that I could manipulate for certain AC types, but now I can actually get my laser weapon variety to planned levels as certain lore standard/pulse lasers just weren't possible with the previous options. Additional missile variety helps. Infantry helps to balance out certain weapons and create the variety needed for certain uses. Already enjoying some of the new weapon features in the editor.

But a new campaign start? Looking forward to it.

Question; couldn't your hud mod just flip it around?

Though I do see why you'd see it as an issue, given MWO does left/right with left on left for both paper doll views.

New Equipment

Strikes are already in MWO, as is ECM, Active Probes and MASC.

Yes. I would like more to see Chem Lasers (presuming those using Ammo, that is - shot as laser generation per shell for much lower heat) and Mech Rifles, which would be damn useful for IS lights using ballistics (if also treated like in TT).

No performance fixes....or removal of the base protect mode.

Nvidia titles are so awful I literally had to steal a 3080(then changed to 3060ti)card from my mining rig to play the game and it still runs poorly.


But a different defend objective mode, it's almost like I want them to go back and play MW2, the mission where the spider mech was down and needed repairs was awesome, really intense battle and specific voice overs for THAT mission.

If I hear someone tell me they lost building X again....

Really it was too open world and generic, rather than a very linear story with branching arcs, that would have been nice, get me in the feelings, open world is better for RPGs.

I know but the description seems to suggest they work a bit different than the current MWO variants ?!

I mean... try to imagine the following... :

- Someone is NARC-ed.
- You throw Artillery on that specific mech/player.
- When they move the Artillery strikes follows them! :D

That would add some funny moments to the current gameplay! Posted Image

Now we are talking! Alright, Im gonna be so rusty... Curious how the controller scheme will be for xbox. i guess left analogue stick to turn torso, the right one to adjust speed? Hope the controls will be remappable at least. My lappy couldnt... kinda handle MW5, not being optimized well didnt help either. I think I will... relax by playing on my big tv with rumble in my hands.

Oh yea... because MWO has been a shitshow, and MW5 looked like a mediocre, remastered MW4, if someone ripped all the soul out of it.

Then again I have kept my expectations of PGI low since around 2014
