Thank you for the great event! GSP, MC, and THREE colours being given away with a great mech and a camo pattern!

So far I've had the exact variant for each battlemech being given away as well as the same chassis for each omnimech, so getting the champion version of the Timberwolf is a great surprise. (Weirdly bad luck on my part so far since I don't have a large collection of mechs, but all the free mechs are greatly appreciated.)

Yes, you did - during the Trick or Treat 2 event.

Timber Wolf TBR-C(C) was the Grand Prize (and maybe once or twice after that, in different events).

This one is more of a Challenge, and certainly needs more time to complete.
But hey, one month is a lot of time, right?

I completed the challenge for the "Cyanotic" color and redeemed it on the website, yet the color is still not in my owned ones (I checked, and I'd have to buy it, it's not that I can't find it).

My friend has redeemed in-game and got the color. Have also had someone else reporting a missing color after website redeem.





P.S.: The MC showed up fine.

So, I played the whole Challenge only in a Timberwolf C (C), which I got from a previous event.
Was a nice Challenge. But Timberwolf felt a little bit underperforming.

not sure about quirks, but it's getting a big agility buff in this month's patch. it should be very nice to play again.

So I finished the Leader of the Pack Free Mech Event.
And multiple stuff did not redeem.


What I got: Premium Time, GSP and MC.

What I did not got: Decals (Decal Wolf Eye, Decal Word Wolf)
Colors (Cyanotic, Proto Blue, Invasion Gray (Invasion Gray I have allready from an event in the past),
Mech (Timberwolf C (C)),
Mechbay,
Pattern Sherman Timberwolf
Maybe I am missing the 50 UAV's but I can not control this.


Yes, I did write the Support.
But just wanted to inform the other Mechwarriors.

Sorry that I'm late to getting to this piece of discussion. I understand that life happens, as it did to me here, and so I hope that you'll get to see these thoughts later and be able to take them into the measure of Like vs. Dislike over the choice of Mech this month. Put simply, I (and having seen other posts, some others out there) personally appreciate your choice of the Timber Wolf TBR-C(C) Mech as a prize. Please do not let those other people tear you down from choosing any Variant of the Timber Wolf Mech that you feel is appropriate in the future, even if it happens to be many months or years away, or even limited for a while to only being part of some special particular Event's earnings. Those other people who are trying to tear you down and give you a bad day make me second the thought that Speedy Plysitkos posts above in this thread...

...as they hit it pretty well square on the head. It's something given FREE for playing and completing an Event's Challenge on the roster. Those other people really do not have any right to go "looking a gift horse in the mouth" and/or be so rude to you, Daeron, with such negative feedback on something so nice and kindly given. Please put more weight in your considerations upon any positive feedback which you receive here, less weight upon any negative feedback, and definitely keep working with Matt Newman there to continue pumping forth the enjoyable Mech-rewarding Events in the future!

...it so happens that I also took a hiatus from MWO myself too, albeit that mine was after having to accept my own body forcing its' limits upon me. (Not trying to get on a major off-topic rant about that, but it really would help if the Lock-On Weapon Times & Angle got a tiny little bit of help, appreciation, and kindness so that people fighting physical disabilities of any kind — and/or mental disabilities, and also those who can not upgrade their computer — did not feel like they were getting the short end of things... For some players, leaving weaponry they could enjoy in a state where they feel it unusable is like saying they're unwanted in MWO's Community at all. Right now, we literally need as much of a population increase/infusion as possible in order to get the MatchMaker stabilized, as there are still issues with Match Balance to fix. So, giving Lock-On Weapons some help would also have the effect of getting more people who left MWO to return, as they would no longer feel like they were being forced out to pasture!!! .......... Argh, I got into a rant here anyway... Sorry!!!) However, since the start of the whole pandemic mess that forced everyone to take shelter, it feels to me like these enjoyable Free Mech Events have been quite the breaths of fresh mental air to have appear for everyone's enjoyment. It attracted both myself and w0qj into returning, and likely had the same effect upon many other people. Again, like I said earlier, I also appreciate the choice of the Timber Wolf for this month's particular Event Mech Prize to earn. I very much hope that they will never land up discontinued in the future, as these kinds of things to earn give players at virtually any level of MWO an incentive to want to get into things, and it definitely gives the newer (and also returning) players some nicely added reason to get started in the first place. Please keep 'em coming!

Nice event , thanks Daeron !
Can i have a request or maybe i can say recommendation in the next patch?
Its about AMS hardpoints on omnipods.
Cant you give more AMS on different omnipods on a mech cuz i like to have minimum 1 AMS on my mechs but sometimes annoy me that i must take missiles omnipod for my dakka or laserbuild when i want that lone AMS hardpoint. Especialy annoying on Timberwolf and on Ebon Jaguar.
Almost all claner mech have unused head omnipods, cant you put there AMS hardpoint?
Or add AMS hardpoints to left and rightside omnipods too please.
