i run a marauder II with quad RAC2s and a ton of heatsinks, i can cyclebetween them often and it works out fantastically. it also has some backup medium lasers and stealth armor for reposistioning, i rarely pull less than 1k damage in that thing, its ******* hilarious.

this thing is perfectly balanced to be able to fire all 4 rac2's and eat the ghost heat to overheat at the exact time most of them jam, but it's also cool enough to basically be heat neutral while firing two rac2s, and can handle firing 3 untill jam.
so the optimal way to play it when you're being rushed is to all in the heat, but if you have sustained capabilities where you're not getting hit you can alternate and keep 3 firing when one jams, due to the RNG of it.
its nutty.
also i take both stealth armor skill nodes for a total of 45% stealth armor CD so i can toggle it on and off frequently, ideally you dont want stealth armor on while firing but you can definitly get away with it with 4.2 heat dissipation per second after skills
lasers only exist if i get an arm gone or if i get rushed and i got a coolshot up, its just 10 oh **** damage or the occasional UAV killer (switch to ERML if you want to do that realistically), i rarely use them but they're invaluable in a pinch like coring out a fleeing light mech.
