Because a Bolt-on is just a 3D model and what you are asking is completely new functionality for the game, which needs to be developed by programmers and engineers that the game does not have available?

Well, damn close, anyway. The C-Bill logos contrast a little bit when compared side-by-side, but it's hard to tell the difference on their own. I appreciate the legwork, though! I'll definitely be doing exactly this as soon as the 'mech drops in-game.

The Bounty Hunter is like Batman, but in a mech. Some people were disappointed when PGI gave the TBR-BH the Mechwarrior 2 Throwback/BattleTech AS Enhanced Imaging skin. The Bounty Hunter was always known to wear Green with c-bill markings. It's his signature look, just like Superman's "S" Logo.

His 'Mechs were invariably painted a bright green with currency symbols on it, a feared sight on the battlefield, and often custom-modified, allowing for his or her PA(L) armor to be worn while piloting to further conceal the pilot's identity.

As for me I just recreated, the scheme for fun since he had a Timber Wolf at the time.

No. I had faith someone would figure this option out. It's exactly why I wasn't worried about a lack of a Timby Bounty Hunter skin.

And to answer another question I saw, yes, there will be 5 Elementals. The 3 depicted is just to give you an idea what's going on, and if you want to, believe that the other 2 are on the back, where they should be.

well as many energy points as these things have i'm really hoping there are energy quirks for this thing planned at the least some negative energy heat generation quirks

By 3044 Vic Travers modified the 'Mech again after acquiring an M-7 Gauss Rifle, two ER PPCs and a 225-rated XL Engine, dropping the dorsal Hellstar, two medium lasers and three double heat sinks to make room for the Gauss Rifle and its two tons of ammo. Some sources indicate his signature Marauder, along with some of his associates, was lost during his battles against Clan Smoke Jaguar during the Clan Invasion.

During the Clan Invasion Vic Travers was able to claim a Clan Smoke Jaguar Mad Cat, which the Bounty Hunter often rode in battle against Clan and Inner Sphere targets alike in a custom configuration, mounting a Large Pulse Laser and a Medium Pulse Laser in each arm. It also had a Medium Pulse Laser in both the left and right torso with a Clan Light TAG in the center torso. A Light Active Probe, ECM suite, and a Targeting Computer provided stealth and increased accuracy.

might buy the pack just for that tbh.
better yet: how about an "elemental support" pack?! give me 10x elementals to bolt onto mechs for like 10$ or so, and I'll buy it in a heartbeat ;D

yep.
Id buy also the stand-alone boltons. But hey, they wont do it, trust me.
This alone could generate much higher income then from the pack, but they dont have a nose for it.

I already decided that this was an instabuy for me. As a 90's kid, Mechwarrior 2 was what introduced me into the BT Universe at young age. I played it back in 1997, at the age of 4. Besides, I can't wait to see someone mod in Elementals MW5 to go with the DLC. I do hope that this also paves the way for other IS and Clan Battle Armor.

As bolt-ons yeah i don't think we'll ever see these actually be doing anything else IN MWo maybe in MW5 maybe in mods... but i'm sure in MWO they will always be bolt ons, these may be the first bolt ons I ever use. If only I could attach them to a Nova or other mechs.. maybe soon they will be released for other mechs.

Yeah, that is what I mean, for MW5 mods. But I can only hope we get Elemental types and bolt-ons for other mechs.
