I've been lucky enough to grind out 5 of the orange rare supply caches the last couple months, unfortunately the bonus item on all 5 were the same; a Steiner dream catcher.

PGI, could you please fix this? it's not huge deal but kind of a bummer when you get a Rare and it is the same thing every time, I mean the first dream catcher was cool, but every time not so much. What I'd really dig is some mounted warhorns.

The Steiner Dreamcatcher is the rare one..... I can bury you in Marik Dreamcatchers

Its not a bug. Supply caches are just that pointless.

I got Liao and Kurita dreamcatchers. I never side with those factions.

So are we saying the rare supply cache gives a random dreamcatcher? Has anyone gotten a different kind of cockpit item from them?

How about a redeem code for a warhorn of our choice? Mmm?

So those Supply Caches are not actually "broken" as being impossible to open or redeem, but they are filled with junk that you do not want?

I am sorry to tell you that Supply Caches of all kinds are filled with such useless and repeating stuff: Small lasers, flamers, single heats sinks, SRM-2s, etc.

I got 8, 18 Uncommon, 33 Common and the lone Ultra Rare sitting there collecting dust around the bays so when people come by, those crates make it look like actual work is going on.

Well yeah, 3 things I could care less about and one "come ON give me a decal I don't already have!" They're free, they're worth it just for that. Last one I opened had a letter "E" in it. Now I can spell "PEEPS" on the back of my troll build banshee... Mister Peeps!

Free is great, free stuff we 'might maybe sorta consider using one day' is fine too, still feels like we got something just for playing.

Getting your 11th 'not your faction' banner and your seventh 'wrong country' flag you will absolutely never ever use and can't even throw away? Just provides a massive sense of defeatism and leads to posts like above where people just stop caring about the caches entirely.

Oh yes they're completely pointless. The items in them are useless - what are you going to do with a dream catcher? The uncommon caches are actually the best IMO since they tend to have random decals in them.

the rare (or is it ultra rare? is that a thing? I forget.) can have mechbays in them, which is pretty nice - but iv only seen that pop out twice.

I cherish my collection of cache delivered small lasers.

I love to pair my SRM2 + Artemis with a TCVII to really get the most out of them. Caches let me do that.

They're free. I'm not going to complain.
