I got a new gaming mouse with 12 buttons and for the life of me I can't figure out how to reassign the alpha strike from \ on the keyboard to one of the buttons on my mouse. Is it possible? and if so how?
Any and all help/answers would be appreciated!
Thanks!

1. Go to "Settings".
2. Click "Keyboard".
3. Scroll down to "Alpha Strike".
4. Click with the mouse button that you want to bind to alpha strike.
5. Almost forgot. Click "Save".

just mapping all of your weapons to a mouse key trough the normal way also works just fine. I don't really know why there IS a spesific alpha strike key when you can just bind all you have got to first weapon group and default to alpha striking most of the time in the first place.

I dare to guess: I remember some BattleTech stories where Alpha Strike is mapped to a separate button of the protagonist's BattleMech.
Or maybe some older MechWarrior games had it, PGI offered this option too.

Pretty sure it was an option in older MW titles but it doesn't really need to exist in MWO. Either you've got them all in one group anyway, or you aren't alpha striking.

mwo may not recognize mouse buttons beyond 5, so you'll have assign keystrokes to these buttons via your mouse software and then bind the keys in mwo accordingly. My mouse has 6 sidebuttons and they have like "home", "insert" and so on bound to them.
