I also very much enjoy this style. I've played laser boats, long range snipers and brawlers both with and without jump jets and had a great time with all of them.

I disagree. While I liked the old version, yes it needed a change. However it's been changed too extremely.

Map is too big.
Map has too much narrow trenches and too much abrupt elevation change.
Map forces many one on one battles because it's really hard to stay with the team, because of the narrow passages.

Basically, if it could just be a bit less intense, it would be an improvement.

Nah, map is still way too big, reduce the size by 60% minimum IMO the only problem with the map is the fact that it is too big.
