The best way to reduce hackusations and increase playerbase retention in MWO is by increasing player confidence in the product by including a "feature" that "all successful arena shooters have."

The best way to reduce hackusations ..

... is to ask those accusers for some proofs.

Whenever someone comes to this forums and says "MWO is filled with hackers and it has been for years.", I ask for screenshots and videos.

In 99% of cases the only answer that I get is "Everybody knows that." or "You are a hacker too. Otherwise you would not ask for proofs." Typically those accusers have nothing to show. Sometimes what those accusers consider to be proofs of hacking are just cases of bad hitreg or such things.

Often those accusers think that somebody who bests them in the game must be cheating. It seems that they can not accept the possibility that the enemy player has a better aim, runs a better 'Mech or that he has better situational awareness.

I will not post the link, but the only video (showing possible hacking) that I have seen in the last two years was a case of a certain Shadow Cat camping in a place that should be out of bounds. That's all.

I don't know about anyone else in this game, but I know I personally start getting suspicious that someone is hacking if they're consistently headshotting me every time they kill me, no matter how I'm twisted, how I'm moving, or what mech I'm in

Does this happen to you a lot? Because it happens to me once in a blue moon. A friend of mine is very good at headshotting with his Fafnir, and I know 1000% that he's not cheating or hacking. Some people just have good aim and some people just make it very easy to be headshot.

fix lopside blowout ques.

period.

if your equal skill level you cant think others are cheating and player retention increases when players have fun vs get frustrated being on fodder teams for tier one player groups.

Hahahahaha.
Oh, you were serious?
Hahahahahahahahahaha.
Assumptions of cheating are typically rooted in a combination of superiority complex and ignorance. It doesn't matter if the opponent is equal skill level, the usual crowd will assume losing to him is proof that he cheated.
