I have had a similar experience, only thing is I am not as good of a player and am not as competitive and I refuse to budge from the cockpit of the ANH-2A. There is something about the games that you win and how you win them that sets the mech apart from the rest... even the atlas has a hard time against it, especially at range... I started the account and got an ANH-2A as soon as I could, I even used the event free mech bay at the time. I proceeded to gain another 2 identical mechs, so I had 3. I really like to play short games, most of the time. If I spend 3 mins in a match and only get 500 dmg... all in all that is still a win, most of the time (we are talking about pure carnage here). On a highlight: if you do this at least you will a) start the game in an assault mech
have a lot of mechs to shoot, until you get to Tier 1 and c) have fun and then exit match, after you die to enter, yet another ANH-2A to lead the charge in a 52 kmph mech. Due to the nature of the environment, owning an assault mech may result in an excessive amount of stomps and 1000+ dmg matches. To play like this is the exact opposite of playing conservatively, it is reckless and dangerous, fraught with heart-racing battles. If you want to do even more damage, take some cover and wait a little bit for the rest of your team to pull off some shots, so you can join in with them... not the other way around where you shoot the enemy and then are left looking around, wondering where all your team members are...
