Hi.
Simple question. Do we got object physics in MWO? Why am asking? Well i just got prevent from moving in 65T mech by a 30T mech. Enemy just hug my mech . WTH, I get i can be slowed but completely stopped in place?
Another question, if i am in lets say 90 T mech and i collide with 30 T mech or any other that is much lighter do lighter one get any damage?

They took away Lights damaged by collusion with Assault.
Currently this is still being abused by the Lights.
MWO should reinstate Lights damaged by collision with Assault.

Uhh,no. You still get tick damage for collisions.

Leone beat me to it. I'll add that all mechs not just lights take collision damage. It is quite funny to see the last two enimy with no ammo left or energy weapons trying to ram each other to death. Nothing can be more aggravating than trying to ram some one down when a fart on their red ct would end them.

When you cuddle long enough with the other Mech you will warp through it eventually - they removed collisions bcs of "Dragonbowling".

Collisiondamage is stil there but so minimal it would probably take hours to kill someone that is at any reasonable health level.
It was somwhow usefull and funny if not abused - back then when Centurion on a Stick was something useful.
When we capped the enemy base a lone Mech aproached us and it was so close to winning i simply clashed into the other Mech right outside the "box" and the time on ground was enough for the timer to have us win.

Wow that is just silly. Even dumb games like word of tanks or world of warships (dev teams a just made of dumb ppl) got working "physics" . This is just lazy !!!

Basically all lights rely on either being fast enough to avoid shots or simply not being the primary target and not getting shot in the face place. A light that is hugging an assault and stopping movement with be neither of these and basically a free kill.
