The builds I wanna see out in QP are 3mrm20, 3Lpl, and the 3mpl 3srm6a builds.
Here is my list of builds for all the SHD, take what you want.

Lol, I guess from your position he might seem average. Anyone in Tier 1 isn't just average though, even those in Tier 2 are above average.

If only.
By the way *I* am the king of Shadowhawks. My highest kill/death ratio in a Shadowhawk is 33.0. Yes you read that right. Thirty Three. Ooh to be young again!

Tiers don't really matter and are not a measurement of skill. A completely average player has 1 WLR and 1 KDR, since it is 0 sum - 1 player winning means another losing, and 1 player killing means another dying.

Of course tiers matter; if they didn't matter then it wouldn't matter if tier 1s played against tier 5s.
Someone with a higher WLR in tier 5 is not a better player than someone with a lower WLR in tier 1. Just as an elementary school sports team with a high WLR isn't better than a professional team with a low WLR. WLR and KDR are useful metrics within a tier, but they shouldn't be compared across tiers.

That sounds great, but unfortunately it's not how tiers in MWO is designed. MWO tiers only have 1 purpose, to keep the newbies away from the experienced players. By experienced, I mean knows how to use the mechlab, and what various equipment items do. Outside of that, the Tiers are assigned pretty randomly based on earning match score which is doing "stuff" not necessarily "skilled stuff" but rather both "skilled stuff" and "dumb stuff" without separating the two.
This is getting off topic, so if you want to debate it more feel free to create another thread.

You get thirty damage in one single trigger pull with decent moderate range and in the two most useable hardpoints on the 'Mech. Full set of jets (primarily because there's no room for extra heat sinks without Enginanigans) means it's also a serviceable poptart with the same pinpoint hit as a Pop Veag without running into Ghost Heat issues (though it does lose a lot of splash damage). You're gonna have to be shooting a lot with this thing to make the kind of damage you need in a match, but if you're doing the pokey-peeky thing, this is a decent way to do it.

That's a good build for FP. For QP though, it suffers from having all the weapons from the shield side. As you inevitably NASCAR to stay alive, you'll experience a high likelihood of the weapon side being stripped and becoming a stick. This is a problem with all left-sided mechs in QP.

Also, people on the red team are going to lick their chops upon seeing that mech's red doll and will make every effort possible to get within 90 meters (especially lights). I would not trust my Soup Queue allies to keep buggers out of the 90m deadzone.

The 3Lpl SHD is better than the 3lpl veagle given its agility buffs. The 3rd hard point being the tiniest bit lower is a nonissue really when you have jjs and are peaking.
Edit: trust, it’s good farm mech and it’s hard points are better than veagle.

Or you could put the same engine in a CRB-27, cut one LPL for three ERML, snag an extra heat sink and a TC1, and go noticeably faster with a better brawling profile and improved durability over the Shadow Hawk. yes, the Crab is worse at peeking, but a triple-shoulder Shadow Hawk isn't 'peeking' when it exposes three quarters of its torso to get the third gun above cover. You can cornerpoke with it, sure, but left-side corner pokers have issues. As Nightbird mentioned.
You can do it, absolutely. I wouldn't call it better than a cLPL Veagle by any stretch, and I'm not sure it's the best use of the chassis. But it's certainly doable.

thanks for the info
you don't see SDH's very often these days
this has caused me to think that the Shadow Hawk is just and out dated Mech (I could be wrong)
I wonder if anyone plans to do the Shadow Hawk event in a Shadow Hawk --that would be a cool challenge
keep fighting tell the end
