So within the context of "Does this add anything new" (anything that can't be done in any way, shape or form), only the Huntsman variants would accomplish that. The MDD-D can be built on the Revnant (hero), and the Gargoyle H can be built with the requisite omnipods. Adding the MDD-D would remove the paywall for CT energy hardpoints, but given the amount of MC awarded during events, and the number of 50% off sales, I would argue that that paywall has enough holes in it, already.
Adding the Huntsman D adds one extra energy hardpoint to the right torso (for 3, total).
Adding the Huntsman H adds ECM to the Left Leg, and a total of 7 arm-mounted energy hardpoints.
Adding both gives us a jumping 50 tonner with ECM and 12 energy slots (-C left torso)... Be careful what you wish for.
That said, I've been building collections of every omni variant I can, and I appreciate the opportunity to collect more. Since I have the HMN-Prime through -C, E, and N variants, Being able to add the D for nice alphabetical completeness will make me very smiley.
To that end, the BAS-E, WHK-D, WHK-H, NTG-E, SMN-G, HBR-C, HBR-H, SCR-E, SHC-C, VPR-F, VPR-H, VPR-I, ADR-E, MLX-F, and MLX-H, are all on my bucket list. Of those Mist Lyxes, the -E and -P can be built from the -F variant, and so don't need to be added, themselves (kinda like the KFX-A and B both fit on the KFX-Prime's set-of-8, and the KFX-E fits on the KFX-S's set-of-8, etc).
