So honest question:
What is your oldest mech in the game? When did you get it and honestly why?

Heres mine: CN9-AL



Got it back in 2013 i think September 13th or 14th. Part of the reason would be infamous repair and rearm that we had back then. figured the centurion platform would be easier to maintain, shame i was honest back then and didnt exploit PGI's care mechanic.

Still a great mech to use, shame you dont see these much around anymore.

according to my mech purchase history it was a cat-k2. ive ran that build in every way possible so i cant speak for what i used. though im pretty sure i bought a jm6-dd first, sold it, and then bought the cat. that would have just been an ac2 boat. i bought it back at some point, probibly had something to do with the civil war patch.

do i use them anymore? nope. im not sure they were ever effective in the first place.

Looks like the first mech I purchased after my Founder’s Hunchback was… my Centurion AL ! And I still run him quite a bit, kitted out with 3 ERLL, AMS, and Rockets. It’s a dependable ride that just got quite the buff!
