Not comparing entire games, just comparing small scale engagements. In 1v1's Rogues had an overwhelming advantage against Warriors. But increase the number of Rogues vs Warriors, and the odds start to even out or tip in favor of the Warriors.
So even if a Light mech could always 1v1 with 100% win rate against a lone Assault mech, I don't think that should inform game balance, since Solaris is a dead mode and the game is mostly played 12v12 (or 8v8 if it's Comp). Hence balancing needs to be done based on multiples versus multiples. And in those kind of
many vs many scenarios, butt/crotch hugging isn't a viable tactic.
