At times if you are in Asia there can be sea cable connection/routing issues.

I only get around 45ms to it. So if issues are coming in from Asia it'll be the SMW3 cable potentially, that is the usual issue for anyone in Asia as it routes up via Indo

I was gonna say... From what i remember server testing was done for Sydney but Singaporeans were routing through SEA cable to Perth then crossing Aus for upwards of 200 pings. Perth was decided cause for the majority of Aus ping was at it's highest 100ms and SEA players were getting max 150ms.
Edit: As for Jun's issues the OCE servers of late have been shithouse. PGI only pays about $200AUD/month for this server so don't expect their support to be that crash hot when these issues arise.

I have had it un-ticked for 6 months. Never played a match on the server.

Lately what is happening is my ******* FPS dropping during encounters. Meanwhile I get steady 60 FPS on my training ground.

Mecha's issue is his ISP not the best. A number of us have suggested this but apparently it's the games fault.
I get between 43-45ms from various locations in Melb to Perth which is spot on for a good ISP and connection. A little high but as it's multi locations it is likely just routing too the server.
Brisbane should be 70-75ms max location depending so 80+ is also a little high but not "way" too high.

Not had Oceanic selected for years, but still get pushed across, when this happens, server selection isn't even available, so it suggests a server based issue.

I have OC unticked for 4 Years now and never dropped on OC. I'm pretty sure it's a hard filter. The issue where you can't select the server region is purely client-UI, I experience this quite often. It can be resolved by switching into the FP screen and back usually.

I'm rural North of Toowoomba so i'm still Telstra ADSL2+ no NBN here (not even any Vodafone or Optus here).. 85 to WA is standard from QLD.
