I started playing the game in late 2012, I think. The fact is, I was losing intrest really quick, I couldn't play because being a lone wolf, well, was quite boring. I apped to a few corps, they told me to do trials. I have a job, I like my job, I don't need to be interviewed for a game. That's where the crows come in. I asked to join, I was invited. No stress, no frills, jump on Team Speak and... it was a Zoo, I can't lie. Some dude was making monkey noises, an other one was making turkey noises and yet some other dude was having a seizure, I think. That was the first time I had a 4 hour straight session. Not because I was told to, but because I was having fun, I only stopped because it was waaaaay past my bed-time and work waits on no man. I've been a crow ever since and haven't looked back.
What can the crows offer you? A home with a teamspeak server, a website with a fully functionnal forum, membership in a corp with the friendliest players (sometimes overly friendly bordering on sexual advances) and some great lance conversation.
What do the crows get out of you? Well, one more member to strenghten our international roster. Americans, Canadians, Swiss, Greeks, Israelis and Kiwis are already part of the mix and more are welcome.
Don't get me wrong, if you're looking for the best of the best, the creme de la creme, this isn't the corp that will take you to tournaments and win them. We stand our ground, we have some maddengly skilled pilots and we have damned good lances, we simply aren't intersted in working a 2nd job. Many of us do this to relax, to have fun and to enjoy ourselves. Sure, we aim to win, but we don't aim to win, but above all, we aim to have fun.
So if you're looking for a hard-core, professional, ridgidly disciplined corp, I'll be frank, we're not for you.
But if you're looking for a nut house full of like-minded, laid-back, enjoyable adults, then by all means, give us a shout. If you're a veteran who's in need of company or if you're a total rookie in need of a lance, you're all welcome. Bring your smiles, your beer and your flashiest mech, we're always open to new voices on the Team Speak server.
