Great where is their armor quirks? The rest is pointless when they fold so fast.

Just more misinformation.

Go and read the post.

Interesting. The Executioner has always been a favorite. Would rather have a rescale, but since that is not something the Cauldron can do I'm happy for any buffs since the thing is the size of a skyscraper.

I was really hoping for the executioner-C So8 quirks to be something really nasty due to the massively limited and various types of hardpoints but I guess that was hoping for too much.

40% cooldown on ballistics, 20% cooldown on Energy and 50% cooldown on missiles w/ a 40% UAC jam chance reduction in total and quite a bit of velocity.

The UAC jam chance isn't high enough to warrant running a UAC on it over other mechs and the Gargoyle-B can run the same standard ballistics with more SRM's while being faster. Plus the Exe-B is flat out better for running ballistics on it due to it having a higher UAC jam chance reduction (45%) and being able to run 2 ERPPC's in addition to a UAC20 + 2.5 tons of ammo before quirks and skills meaning that you can actually use up your heat + you get way better pinpoint than what the Exe-C could.

My suggestion would either be to crank up the ammo quirks massively and include missile ammo quirks so that you can afford to to utilize all 3 hardpoints due to being able to free up tonnage by not needing to take as much ammo or make the UAC jam chance a 100% reduction and remove the ballistic specific cooldown so that the Exe-C stands out against the Exe-B a little more with lower burst but much more consistent sustained damage due to the UACs never having jam downtime and massive missile cooldown and velocity. As it stands now, with the currently listed quirks I could only see a UAC20+LRM20A+Tag or UAC20+ATM12+Tag build because any other build could be done better on the Exe-B/Gar-B with their So8's and neither of those listed builds are particularly fun even as memes.

If it wasn't bad enough that PGI ignores their official forum, the cauldron is doing the same now; thanks to The6thMessenger for bringing this into the public arena.

They usually don't post these changes until they are in the official patch notes. No need to grab for the pitchforks.

Take it easy! It's just a game ;)

1. Cauldron can suggest changes for MWO game balance, especially mech quirks, but it is MWO's decision whether or not to implement the advised changes...

(Come to think of it, I would love to have MWO suddenly implement Set-of-7 bonus for OmniMechs, but I digress...)

2. As such, Cauldron cannot comment or divulge too much about the final upcoming mech quirk changes especially,
as it is literally MWO's decision on what to implement...

They were quirked heavily. What part of this is so hard to understand?

I mean you were linked to the very thread containing the information and you still continued to make false statements, as usual.

INCOMING CHANGES FROM DISCORD

Now? This is nothing new at all. Upcoming changes (snippets) are posted now and again since the get-go.

I believe I've posted them here on the forum others have posted them on Cauldron channels on discords.

It is nothing that is not in the full patch notes either way. It is simply used to spur discussion. You are welcome to join it at any time although I suspect you'll reply/complain in some way about it Posted Image

This is what the patch notes contained.

Explicitly clear, simple and concise.

If you don't think it is clear/simple/concise - please explain how the patch notes should be written up so that you may understand them better.

If not too much pain in the arse for future, it would be nice to list those kind of quirks extensions to all variants in patchnotes maybe like this:

Night STAR
All Variants:
  • BASE ARMOR (CT)+23
  • BASE ARMOR (RT)+16
  • BASE ARMOR (LT)+16
  • BASE ARMOR (RA)+8
  • BASE ARMOR (LA)+8
  • Added -10% Crit chance (receiving)

Not necessary thing to do but would be nice to see them in patchnote instead of having to check what those def quirks for 9J actually were from MDB or ingame.
And this generally if any chassis gets that kind of quirks based from one variants old quirks to all variants.
