I hate to say it, but with Trial 'Mechs you can not expect too many successes. Before you buy a 'Mech for or , asking in this section could be a good idea.

Welcome to the show. Make sure to check out the light and medium mech build forums here, ask questions, and keep in mind that any post older than 6-8 months may contain outdated advice as the mechs have received a lot of balance adjustments recently!

Depending on your primary times of play / preferred language (NA, EU, AP), the Skye Rangers of Terra can offer ye some help to make your starting times into MWO a little smoother / beginner-friendly. This game has a steep learning curve and can be a little "unforgiving + currency sink" to new players - especially in terms of C-Bill expenses compared to gains.

We - and a lot of other experienced players on our Discord - certainly can offer you a lot of hints on how to properly build and play your mechs, what mechs to buy depending on your personal preferences, gameplay-basics and how to approach maps / game-modes as a solo-dropper or in groups.

As a general hint: you gotta specify which variant of the mechs you own, since there are usually several versions of that mechs you have mentioned and we can only grant you detailed feedback / proposals on how to equip these mechs with the bought variant specified.

Example: there is a Spider-5K, a Spider 5D, a Spider 5V and a Spider called Anansi (Hero-Mech) and each of these variants usually comes with different weapon slots (called hard-points in MWO), equipment possibilities, engines and unique quirks (like armor, weapon cooldown or range improvements etc.).

So you need to be a little more specific on the variant(s) you own.

Furthermore be informed that there are online-ressources like https://mwo.nav-alpha.com/ available, that allow you to "tinker" around with potential builds without the need to work in the sometimes "clunky" MWO-client itself (where a prematurely pushed "save button" can cost ye a lot of unnecessary c-bills).

Their are recruitment posts in faction play subforum and some in the sub forums like german forum thread etc.
Another good place is mwo comp discord. They can prob hint u a unit fitting to your time zone and preferences (comp, fp, IS....)

Depending on your time zone just give the srot guys a chance. Pretty much every unit let u drop with them so u can test drive

Sadly not so many big units remaining.
