Those dips weren't server downtime (that I'm aware of), so perhaps a gap in steam's metrics? A reporting function that didn't run that hour?

Of course, I don't launch using Steam, so I'm invisible to that metric.

Sad figures compared to 2016. Casual solo que QP was the backbone of this game in my opinion, matters little now she's on life support. Maybe MWO2 can turn up soon with the lessons learned from MWO.

Well the game IS coming up on 10 years old. Plus Steam is only part of the picture.

And with a stable engine for MW5, perhaps we will see a MWO2 in the works, but they'll be looking at what features to launch the game with, because just launching it with current content won't sell.

Hopefully they avoid the whole 'release it even if it doesn't work properly' thing the gaming industry is obsessed with or 'releasing it when most features aren't in the game' (like MW5 when it first launched) thinking.

Would make a nice change of pace from the typical norm atm.

Yeah pretty sure most players are using the pgi launcher and not steam.

I think Taro worked out (roughly) there is either 30% using Steam or 30% using the Launcher via the available data.

I actually forget which way. I'll give him a nudge and see if he can clarify

the tabs you have open are fine, no one can steal any info there. It's just one time this one dude posted a screenshot where folks could see his tabs which revealed certain activities he would have rather kept private

No one chased him off.

MW5 came out. Said individual went to MW5 discord, talked big (mislead) about making a whole pile of mods for it without the actually skills to do so. The individual then tried to recruit people to make said mods for them...

Of course no one did, lol... Why would you give credit to someone else if you did the work. After that the individual disappeared.

Eventually people see through misinformation and misleading. It happened here, it happened on MW5 discord. I am not remotely surprised.

I am a bit paranoid 3 times I have had my MWO acct hacked

this last time I contacted PGI

Just to point out, MW5 had a dip about the same time one of those dips occurred. I was playing at that time and got the network disconnected notification right in the middle of a mission. Missed a headshot opportunity.

but when I saw 3 dips that is what pushed me to post
