[Mr Nice Mech]

One of the exalted brethren of MWO recently posted a video showing the utter dominance of the Flea against mere mortals.




Another exalted brother just posted a video showing how to counter the light mech 'dominance'.

Yep I was in opposite team as DATA last weekend he was in light... he died 1st with less than 50 damage done.

First vid is FP, second vid is a single QP match. Truly, a representative sample of light mechs' performance in the meta. /s

Every Mr. Nice Mech thread is a poorly veiled attempt to start a flame war.

In order to bring this into proper context one needs to watch all the videos from TTB and DATA, showing their dominance in the field.

The only conclusion one can draw is that these top performing players are good in just about any mech, not just light mechs.

Agreed, top pilots like TTB, and D A T A, can make anything work, so it really just illustrates class parity, which is a good thing for the game.

It would be funny if it wasn't so obviously in bad faith. OP is transparently trying to drum up an attack on people he doesn't like and its so obvious that every thread he makes is being made with that strategy in mind.

Thats the life of an aggressive light player. One match you run rampant like a deranged gnome with a chainsaw chopping off arms and legs whilly nilly and the next you get smashed by the first mech with calm aim.

Streaks and especially streak boating has always been a hard counter to lights. The issue is that they are fairly poor vs anything else especially when there is lots of ecm around since you can't dumbfire them.
