Odd that you picked the origins mechs to start this will. I would of thought you would of gone, Adder, Nova, Summoner, Warhawk for the first round.


that said, I'd love an Adder, commando and victor!



BTW, what about Gold? I know you have the classic Clan 8 that if you added those people might be mad, but there is nothing saying you can't do it with the hundreds of other mechs in the game. There was never a way for me to get a golden commando and man would i love one! The old 8 where sold as limited to 1k but there was nothing stated that i can recall that said you would never add it to any other mech.


I've also said that you should have Gold, Silver and Bronze as rewards for Comp, but if you want to sell them in packs why not those as well? I love the metal skins. And getting more C-bill booster mechs is never a bad thing. People love a mech, it's even better if it has a booster on it.

There is a Problem with the Requirements in this Event.

Requirements as dmg,kils etc. are made for the Hucnchback IIB(P), but the Pack contains the Hunchback IIC(P).
Could anyone look into this pls.?

1a. Apparently you bought the Clan Platinum Collection 01, containing the HBK-IIC-B(P) mech.

1b. I've just completed the Event for Clan Platinum Collection 01,
by successfully using the HBK-IIC-B(P) mech as intended!

2. The other one you were looking at was for the IS side of things, which you should ignore.

Iv´ive bought both Packs and the tracker on the clan Event Page for the hunch doesent show any progress.
I´am almost done withe the Rest of the Event except the Hucnch IIC.

Fun Fact:Just compare the Offer of the Pack.It shows the Hunch IIC equipped with missiles instead of the Ballistics.
It´s The IIC-B(P) and In my Hangar is a IIC-C(P):

I put the P skin on the wrong hunch and the thumbnail in my hangar of the IIC B shows a firestarter

Good to hear that your issue has been resolved!

If your MWO mech thumbnails are permanently jumbled (never heard of such a case):
1) Goto your HBK-IIC-B(P), fiddle with it in MechLab, and [Save] new mech layout.
This action should generate a new thumbnail for preview later on (and not a Firestarter)!

2) If above (1) does not work, you can delete all MWO mech cache thumbnail files, and MWO game client would generate new thumbnails again!

Did you buy your Clan Platinum Collection pack, or did you gift it? Just curious.

My Clan Platinum Collection Pack came with HBK-IIC-B(P) with has total 4x missile hardpoints in LT/RT,
and no ballistic hardpoints. No idea how yours occured...

i noticed a typo quite amusingly the AS7-DDC the funny story was "so I was frantically looking for the new specs of this new AS7-DDC i was LIKE YES! a new atlas variant my favorite IS 100 tonner, what fun i can play around with new hard point stuff i thought to my self, and i was for 30 minutes looking for the specs of the Atlas-DDC, over the moon excited for a new atlas, and I soon realized it was the AS7-D-DC and i was like Ohhhhhh... i see now... i understand now, so this was about after a hour i realized it was just the AS7-D-DC."

Not sure if you're into FP (Faction Play)...

For the faster moving FP game objectives (Conquest especially), I'm assembling:

IS FP Drop Deck: max 265 tons
HBK-4P(S) - 50ton
HBK-4P(P) - 50ton
STK-7D(S) - 85ton
80ton - your choice of last mech

(Now, I wish that IS FP Drop Deck allow 270ton, so that one can put in a 2nd STK-7D or 85ton mech, but I digress...)

I always dropped a Warhammer into that 4th slot and used Shadowhawks in the first two. Or Shadowhawk, Centurion, Warhammer, Highlander. Tankiness is important.

First off, WELCOME!

You do still have 27 days to complete them.

What aspect are you struggling with? Note that the kill requirement is just for money, if that is what has you stumped maybe just concentrate on getting the rest.

One thing I suggest is to play the game and not worry as much about the event. Maybe check at the end of your night and see where you stand, but focusing on the progress can make it seem slow as you have expectations on a pace and that may not always line up with reality.

Remember, you have almost an entire month left!

The requirements are cumulative. You don't need to do any of them in a single match.
If you do 50 damage a match, well, it's gonna suck to do 50 matches to unlock the goal but you will if you persist. Stick with the bulk of your teammates and don't die too early and you will accumulate the Kill/KMDD goals over time (depending on the mech, you'll either want raw damage vomit for KMDD or just enough damage to killsteal). Victories, well... chances are that you'll be done with that for each mech long before you finish the other goals.
With a month to go, it's just numbers grind.

These mechs are terrible at least for the clan side. Strongly recommend not buying.

The Jenner is straight hot garbage. 6 laser mounts on the arms, so if you're lucky you'll get a shot off before you're armless. No weight to make the lasers hurt, no ECM, hit box the size of a mountain, it has no redeeming qualities.

The Hunchback could be okay if you want to load up on streaks and jump shot people all day. If not you're going to need to be forced in to LRMs.

The Orion is an Orion, You can make into a LB20/SRM brawler easy enough. I don't remember the last Orion I've seen in a faction battle.

The Highlander, like the rest of them, has a bunch of missile mounts. Highlander don't get played either.

If it's not laser vomit, it's not getting played currently, and none of these are that.

I'm having a bit of success with the Hunchback, Catapult and Atlas but the Jenner JR7-F(P) just feels bad. I feel outclassed by every other mech on the field and is not fun. The hitboxes are garbage. Not even worth my time for the event at this point.
