Quick question - in either of the Build Your Own Bundle sales which four hero Mechs would you get apart from the Atlas Kraken?

Madcat MKII Deathstrike and Grasshopper Mjolnir are the two best heroes that can be chosen in the build it yourself bundle

Atlas Boar's Head hero mech is good, -10% ballistic cooldown, -15% energy heat (-10% heat for ballistic/missile weapons also), & up to 400-size Engine for surprising your foe! Atlas can now torso twist fairly well now also.

Also second the Atlas Kraken; great hero mech!

I also just got the Hunchback HBK-4P(S) Special Variant with +30% CBills bonus also!
This is the exact mech that came from the Steam Mech Performance Pack, and was subsequently unavailable for many years!
(You can also get this from the IS Platinum Collection 01, the HBK-4P(P) which is same mech but with Platinum skin +30% CBills bonus also!)

Thirded on both the Atlas Kraken and Boar's Head. If you like running Atlases, these mechs are excellent.

And the new quirks for the Orions make them extra tanky. The Protector is very good in a AC/20 + 3SnPPC configuration if you like brawlers.

I got myself both Onions, the Crabby Patty and Vapro.

Unfortunately you can't swap between each set. I've already got the Kraken otherwise it would be easier...

So I've narrowed it down to

• GRASSHOPPER MJÖLNIR (H)
  
• MAD CAT MK II DEATHSTRIKE (A)
  
• ORION IIC SKOLL (H)

or

• ATLAS THE BOARS HEAD (A)
  
• HIGHLANDER IIC KEEPER (A)
  
• ORION IIC SKOLL (H)

I bought the [Even_More_Heavy_Metal] pack, choosing the Hunchback HBK-4P(S) amongst others.
This HBK-4P(S) was from the Steam Mech Performance Pack many years ago, not available for many years since!

Caveat: The IS Platinum Collection 01 pack HBK-4P(P) is the same mech but with Platinum camo skin. Both has +30% CBills bonus!

So the only difference between the standard version and the (S) variant is the C-Bill bonus?

Not sure if you're into FP (Faction Play)...

For the faster moving FP game objectives (Conquest especially), I'm assembling:

IS FP Drop Deck: max 265 tons
HBK-4P(S) - 50ton
HBK-4P(P) - 50ton
STK-7D(S) - 85ton
80ton - your choice of last mech

(Now, I wish that IS FP Drop Deck allow 270ton, so that one can put in a 2nd STK-7D or 85ton mech, but I digress...)
