getting constantly ripped by PIRAHNAS and other MECH I MUST SAY PGI

BATTLETECH RULES!
This mechs go through my Leg Armors as if 10 ASSAULT would PINPOIJNT-shooting my legs!
THIS IS JUNK (not even programming)!
By the Tech-Rules the Damage Machine-Gun do are applied in 1 turn of 1 minutes.
I am not math, but I am sure it would go something like 2000 ammo would transfer to 20 damages!
So to go through in one of my legs of 60 Armor a Light must have around 6000 ammo !!! Without even scratching the internal Structure!!!
To do this damage the lights (in MWO) run directly in to you! => in Battletech it would make point-blank for an assault and no speed advantage for the lights so any weapon would give full Damage to lights (and all other mechs) at 100m !
But here, the light do not get even a red-armor from LPLs !!!!
LPL lasers not scratch them !!!! smell that in your brains! LPL in Point-Blank-Range on Battletech !!!!
So Caulderon-Group should stop next patch-release and implement that before release!
Either more Ammo for this insane Damage-Rate, less Damage or Point-Blank!!!
IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE (even by less resources) THAT THIS DISCRIPANCE IS NOT SOLVED SO LONG!

Cicada's are so brokenly overpowered, something needs to be done about them.
It is a well known fact that light mechs are the strongest class in the game right now, because I can't hit lights with my giant stompy assault mech. They are impossible to hit, their 4 medium lasers have higher DPS than my quad RAC Slepnir, and they're tankier than Atlasses.
Cicada's take this a step further, by being a MEDIUM, having even MORE armor than lights as is, while maintaining the same 120 kmh speed limit in, addition to having the tonnage to mount big weapons like Heavy PPC + 4 HMG on the 3C, or quad AC/2 on the 3C, or UAC/5 (that never jams because of quirks) + 4 mlas (or effectively 5 with cooldown quirks) + ECM on the 3M, or so many JJs on the 3F it makes a Spider jealous!
How are LRM 130 Assaults supposed to deal with a mech less than half their tonnage?!?!
Just look at this video that DIFINITIVELY PROVES how BROKENLY OVERPOWER this CICADA IS!!!
They're so overpowered that I am consistently outplaying the heavier mechs that dare fight me - I can spot a group of 3, poke them from stealth with a UAC5, then fall back once they're distracted, dragging them towards the rest of the team. How is anyone with any sort of brain supposed to play around this very obvious trap?!

Don't let them get in range, don't get disconnected from your team and aim for the hips.

Everything else does appear to be a mixture of a language barrier induced rambling cluttered with highly incorrect claims about "the rules" (of the table top game) and with a clear ignorance towards the necessities of a first person shooter game. Add some equally incoherent ramblings about personal misgivings on (implied) lag shield effects when shooting at Light mechs in MW:O .. et voilà we have the next round of free but ultimately boring entertainment that could have gone into one of the already existing threads.
So buckle up folks ... this merry-go-round is going to spin at "insane" RPM values and has the potential of creating the desire to puke on the keyboard in front of you.

The machine guns that give you trouble are eating away your armor from less than 150m range. This itself isn't a problem, its that the mech firing them has 8 or more of them, resulting in perhaps 8 points of armor being eaten per second. The best way to minimize this sort of light mech spam is to adjust your play style so that you are less of a juicy, helpless target. Positioning, mostly. Teamwork, secondarily.
And I won't say "shoot them" because that's rather obvious.

PS: a MG in BT causes 2 DMG.

You are playing MechWarrior Online. Tabletop BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat is a different game. Both games follow different rules and have different game mechanics.

Machine Guns are weapons combining the very short range with the necessity of carrying lots of ammo AND keeping the facing towards the enemy 'Mech when attacking. Nerfing MGs even further would probably result in their disappearence from the MWO battlefield.

The stock PIR-1 Piranha carries 128 points of armor. Even with a few points of additional quirked armor and applied armor skills, the 'Mech is far from being indestructible.

Also known as running a pihrana 1. And I'm not just saying that because I've killed a lot more of them then I've scored kills in. I'm saying that because effectively playing lights in general relies on a degree of coordination and communication in a team not often found in the game anymore. Doesn't matter if you somehow get right into their atlas' back and tear it open if there's noone to take advantage of the chaos it can cause.

and here's the solution: since it's OBVIOUS how good that piranha is, just play it yourself and enjoy that "easy-mode".

This post has everything a good "light is op" thread needs:
1. Made by a lumbering assault pilot - check
2. Laser weapon loadout - check
3. Has obviously problems tracking the light with the lasers - check
4. Thinks that lights should be fodder for their assaults - check
5. Claims that the PIR has more firepower than an assaults and is op because of that (nevermind: range, alpha capability, armour, structure etc drawbacks) - check
6. Ignores ppd weapons - check
7. Ignores lock-on weapons like streaks - check
8. Like to waddle around alone in his assault - check
Heck, this will be an entertaining thread
