How about no teasers until they finish the concept art, please.

but if it is being offered in both, then either its a Crusader or it means MW5 is getting a Clans pack. Since they announced no more development on MW5, I doubt that second one. And if its not the first one either, folks will be disappointed, since the Crusader is teh highest ranking desired mech across polls.

They probably have it finished. It would be weird to only make concepts for a tiny random piece of the mech since all of the parts need to work in harmony together.

Anyways here's 2/25 from MW5 twitter:



This basically confirms that it's not the Pixie IIC like some of us were hoping for, since the base variant of that mech doesn't have any energy weapons. I hope Novakaine is happy with his ghettomech.

These are two different chassis, compare the palette and textures.
MWO looks like it could be the Crusader. MW5... not so sure, but it feels like an IS mech. 2/25 looks weird tho... not sure if that's meant to be a leg or forearm.

Maybe it's a double pack? Since MW5 and MWO have the same artstyle it would be a little weird to not get both in MWO.

Also, the x/25 one with the laser arm is posted on the MW5 twitter, so that looks like the Crusader would be in MW5 not MWO (or both like I speculated above).

The x/27 one might actually be the Pixie now that I look at it again. Here is something from the top of the mech:

The lower leg picture matches the Crusader better too.

We can tell that it can't be the PXH due to the legs+feet in the original teaser/leak pic. Won't take many more leaked bits to confirm it.

The Crusader has interesting legal connotations, because unless I missed something over the last few years, Russ' final statement on the Harmony Gold lawsuit was phrased in a way ("the Classic BattleTech designs," with "the" as definitive) to suggest PGI would neither withdraw existing Unseen nor release any remaining (Crusader, Longbow, Osts, etc.) either.

Even as someone not interested in the Crusader, I would find great pleasure in giving HG a giant middle finger by its inclusion in this game.

Is it bad that i don't give a crap about Crusaders or Phoenix Hawk IICs.. Like pretty useless mechs all round..
