Is it bad that i don't give a crap about Crusaders or Phoenix Hawk IICs.. Like pretty useless mechs all round..

PXH IIC is pretty much the only 'mech PGI can sell that I'd consider buying. It's Clan BattleMech power creep, instantly obsoletes my current 'mech, and I want it.

IS omnis would be nice, but then they'd need to redo the XL rules because putting an XL on an assault mech is utter maddness.

Pretty sure the MW5 tease is a Hatchetman. I think you can place the first three pics in order to show the outer edge of an arm. Not sure about the MWO pics, but am sure hoping for Crusader!

Here are the MWO pieces so far on top of the roadmap silhouette.

#2 and #4 fit together. An axe would also be a plausible explanation for the thingamabob in bottom-left corner of #2.

I guess that many Crusader fans can be happy. Those parts fit really well.

Something, what could be the Hatchetman's arm with a piece of its hatchet visible.

Actually closer to the actual miniature than that artwork:

As you probably know, PGI teased the MechWarrior Online fans with the picture of a 'Mech that could be either Crusader (65 tons, Inner Sphere) or Phoenix Hawk IIC (80 tons, Clan) or perhaps some other 'Mech. This image was posted under the 2022 MWO roadmap. (...)

Something (from the pixelosis beginning to the comparision of the RGi (Recognition Guide; Clan TRO's) pictures of Crusader and Phoenix Hawk IIC, there is a much larger chance that it may be the Clan IS mech.

EDIT:

Did a second sweep, and it has to be the Crusader.

If it has shoulder pods, the missiles are there. A Crusader has a machine gun in each arm, so that's likely what you're pointing at.

But pics 6 and 2 from MW5 are making me think they're revealing two entirely different mechs. The angle is wrong for those to fit into the above image... plus different number of pieces in the puzzle. So Now I'm guessing Crusader for MWO and Hatchetman for MW5.

Something what could be the leg of Hatchetman:

Note that the central part has a very similar shape.

Yeah, the similar heat sink vent on the leg had me going for a while, but pic 2 showing a laser doesn't fit into the image for the MWO release mech, and pic 6 looks VERY much like a hatchetman shoulder.

I would say that it is quite clear that those 'Mechs are going to be Crusader for MWO and Hatchetman for MW5: Mercs.

The Reseen and Nuseen have missile racks in their forearms, and what we see of the shoulder pod doesn't seem like it could open.

I'm kinda wondering if the whole point to this stunt is to draw more eyeballs to the twitter account. I must admit that I never look at it unless there's an outage.

Otherwise, I would have commented before now that the banner for their twitter account is advertising the early release of the Marauder II... three years ago.
