That’s a pretty high mount for the AC/10. Too bad that doesn’t matter much in MW5.

Now I want to see a vid of the hatchet in action!

seriously though, the hatchetman was cool in HBS Battletech, it will be cool in MW5. And after that... cue the modders!

Perhaps you will be able to test your theory, if PGI adds Crusader in MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries.

Melee is obviously part of the Hatchetman's DNA but for MWO I'm not sure there are any plausible variants unless melee is added.

I do not expect to see Hatchetman in MWO.

Yeah, the AI for teammates will be trouble. it engages in order of weapon groups. So if you put the hatchet as weapon group 1 then it will always close to melee instead of firing weapons. If you put the autocannon as weapon group 1, it will never close to melee range. given that... why put ranged weapons on it at all if you're not piloting it yourself?

what are they charging for this dlc?
what does it come with, other than a mech, with a hatchet?
am i going to feel like i wasted my time/money?

This could be added to MWO aswell. The hatchet arm could work as the Centurion's shield: dead but able to soak damage. There, you see, there is no valid reason to left out the Hatchetman from MWO...

Just sayin'.
