I've noticed this trend over and over when starting in the valley... The assaults/heavies invariably either go to E5, the field of death, or down the D line into... the canyon of death to die one by one.
Is it just me or was there some kind of unofficial meeting to make these two horrible strategies standard?

Emerald Vale, Why Does Everyone Think E5 And D Line Are A Good Idea?

As a light pilot, all I'd like to say is: sssshhh! Don't tell them! They might start doing something sensible.

On a new map, too many folks just march forward until they see a red team mech and then look for a place to start fighting. It will sort itself out eventually. (That or they'll just keep declaring that its the map that sucks.)

Its a new map, it'll take a few weeks for things to settle. Prey on the fools until then.

its like hpg but better in every way almost. you got cover from snipers, also snipers have to move to get better vantage points

it takes time to develop useful strategies. especially when you have only played the map twice. i suppose if you were a serious player you could explore the map a bit in a fast light in the testing grounds and try to identify the optimal combat areas for various situations. but i barely have time for actual matches.
