Glad to see we're getting a little bit of love finally for MWO. We as a community always want more, that will never change but I honestly think if you would have released the roadmap with the information about event queue, new mech chassis, quirk QoL etc.. and the investigations into FP and a new game mode (even if they came with an asterix) the reception to the roadmap would have been quite a bit more positive.

Still im more positive now than I was last month thats for sure.

P.S Cant wait for the big blue star map and I for one am really enjoying playing on Emerald Vale.

Nice... Much better Roadmap for sure... I love the Crusader, so can't wait for that, hoping for the 5M model...

New Maps always welcome, love that... Re-balance of Quirks, Skills, etc. alright...

Platinum Mech's? Who the **** cares... The new Event thing? Who the **** cares... Re-balancing the Tonnage/Match Making would be great... Still getting 6 Assaults on One side, and 5-6 Lights on the other side to counter lol...

So... 75% Happy... Good job PGI... Crusader is REALLY great news...

Just a couple things.

If you're gonna do Clan P variants, you need the core omnis, not what we've been getting.

Honestly, I like the skill tree. If you're going to **** with it, at most you should move where the nodes are. Make it so you can max out range or speed tweak without having to get points in other stuff.

Looks great. Glad to see things are happening. That initial road map was disheartening. Can't wait for the rebranding and Re-engagement campaign. I hope to see this game experience a renaissance.

Don't change 12v12 to 8v8. Maybe do events occasionally to mix things up, but no permanent change.

replace "new game mode" with "new weapons" and i might get excited.

modes outside of fp are, well, skirmish. unless you want to make a mode specifically for fp, which no one will play outside of the hand full of fp denizens who remain. they will probibly complain that it displaces siege and then farm all the players checking out the new mode until they never return. so just do new weapons instead.

Matchmaker -> Haven't played lately but worked as it is for me
Faction Play -> I think that should be a longterm goal
New Game Mode -> Please tell us more
Rebranding MWO -> Well since Solaris is gone it hsa to happen. To bad it didn't took of. Liked to play it.
Reengagement Campaign -> What does that mean?

Overall I would say the way you are comming out now with telling people that you plan on doing stuff without any specifics and dates is what the first roadmap should have been like.
I can totaly life with it that there aren't dates or any specifics but knowing that you look into things is more then what the first ittereation of the roadmap suggested.
Frankly, when I read the frist roadmap I put MWO aside. Now it has at least sparked new interest in me. I will keep MWO offline for the time beeing but I will keep an eye on the development. Maybe I will come back if things go the right direction.
I am still a big Mech fan but currently I have more fun painting mechs then playing MWO. Would like to see myself haveing fun with both again.

According to data tables provided by steam and further collaborated with information provided by Darren, the 8v8 weekend didn't even put a dent in the player population. Apparently, for every player who skipped that week, an old timer jumped back in for some nostalgia. Plus, we got an extra week on the events, which more than made up for the 2 day hiatus. Mathematically, that boosted the amount of time we have to complete the event by 20%.

So I don't think your dire proclamation has any factual basis to back it up; and I say this as one of the players who refused to play that weekend, not in protest, but in disinterest.

hmm me think, 12 vs 12 will still be played, i also think there will be an 8 vs 8, and if we are lucky some scouting missions 4 on 4, and of course faction play, we will see what form happens.
