MW5 has several exclusive hero mechs which obviously have already been made. They would just need to be ported over with some light inflation in some cases which should be relatively easy. plus it'd be an easy way to have the two games play off of each other. Might be easy enough to pad out the roadmap too.
As you'd expect these mechs have different HPs and equipment like a Dragon with MASC and so on. https://www.sarna.ne...ies/BattleMechs
The big question of course is how to handle them. Would those who have purchased the DLC for MW5 get them for free in MWO? I imagine PGI could charge the regular rate for them to those who haven't purchased the MW5 DLC.

Generally speaking, I would have no problem with it.
However, both games use different game engines, so porting 'Mechs from one game to another could create additional workload for PGI employees.

Well, there are many MW5:Mercs resellers, so tracking who bought what 'Mech could be difficult.

Probably won't happen.

Since it's a new skin on an existing chassis and loadouts we already have, they very well could do this. They'd have to remake the skin for this engine but that's perfectly within their capabilities, it's just that Mark is busy with adding other content. Could be an MWO mech pack. But whether it will sell enough is the question.

I would not mind getting the Sidewinder in MWO. Who wouldn't want a reasonably well armored AC/20 going 111kph before MASC?
