i love my D-DC, but was struggling to manage heat, mobility and what range to fight at... longer range engagements didn't really work due to mobility, mech size and weapon hardpoint locations, but i didn't like the inability to engage at those ranges w/a pure short-range facehugger. i felt like i was walking halfway around the map before being in range of anything...
i also love RACs. a lot. i also run a hunchback w/3x rac2s.

after some tweaking and fine tuning, i built this:
DOOMBRAWLER
skill tree:
https://kitlaan.gitl...00000#s=Weapons
firepower, survival and sensors in order of priority, and one point in aux for a 2nd consumable. i found that seismic sensor is really useful in letting you know you're getting snuck up on. i'm really curious about the new skill system and what fun things i can put together for this mech.
consumables: cool shot and uav.
this mech is big, slow and can facehug/arm tank all day. you need to communicate this to your team, and do NOT get left behind when moving in to position. one or two light mechs will eat you alive if they catch you alone.
as you trundle serenely across the map, take opportunistic shots w/your racs but generally try to stay in cover. if you start getting sniped, try to arm tank and hide ASAP. you have decent range w/the RACs, but the only time you should snipe is if you get an uncontested flank.
once engaged and the brawl is about to begin, either lead the main push or if possible, try to get a flank. you're slow, so there's a good chance that by the time you work around the main fight that you'll get a flank when the red team pulled back for cooldown.
watch your armor as you're hosing everything down, and when you start taking damage use your arms to tank as you back out.
this is not a solo build -- you need to have teammates around and be sure to communicate what you're doing. it'll take some time to get from points A to B, and you won't have enough mobility to redirect much once committed!
enjoy!
