Agreed, not enough info to assist you. Start by looking at hardware and network connectivity, blame the software manufacturer last.

Laptop or desktop? What kind of hardware are you running? What kind of internet connection?

part of the time I'm using MWO on a i5 3rd Gen with GTX640 and 12GB RAM 64bit OS. I had to turn down the graphics details significantly to get it running decent, and even then some maps can cause some issues. Due to this, I've set up a couple mechs as missile boats that tend to move a bit slower and don't rely on fast reflexes.

It's possible, depending on your hardware, you may have to tweak your play style to accomodate if your system is a bit lacking.

Seriously, though, if you don't give specs no one will be able to help you. Until we have some specs to work with, most of us are just going to assume that you are trying to game on a glorified potato.
