If there is one thing that will make me quit this game fairly soon, it is the feeling of just being the cannon fodder for top player target practice or kill teams.

This just happened to me - was in a game and get killed by TTB, a renown YTstreamer that MWO has partnered with a mech that was sold here. (His profile at https://mwomercs.com...ser/165990-ttb/ )

I am Tier 5, not a bad player, but not in the same class as Tier one I should never face one of them in Tier 5, heck even 4 or 3.

Fix QP! Fix QP Fix QP!

Fix drops, why should there be 7 Assault mechs on one side? (I was on that side, and I believe we lost - but maybe we just faced a bunch of idiotic light 12 MG mechs.

With stuff like this going on, why should I ever want to spend money on this game? Seriously! Ive played about 2000 matches on this account and made an alt that has maybe 300 or so on it. With all the events going on I have almost 20 mechs and could probably buy 10-15 cash ones with the $ I have earned, plus have 7000MC and enough Skill points to instantly kit 2 of them to max skills. So I dont need to spend money to play the game. At this point my buying anything with real cash is to support the game and do my part to make sure it is profitable enough to not have the plug pulled on the servers. But when players like me are frustrated beyond belief, why would MWO expect them to spend any money on the game?

I feel you pain, this stuff has been happening since the May match - good news is PGI is working on a QP fix at this time and they should hot fix it ASAP. They are definitely aware. Most of the other May patch issues were fixed in the hot fix yesterday, which is great, a one week turn around to fix patch issues can't be complained about overall.

Just dropped into a game with less than 5 seconds wait time - there were 4 Cadets. 3 on the red team, 1 on ours. They were all legit cadets. Total damage between the 4 of them was less than 200 - we rolled the red team - our cadet at least got a win but did all of 18 damage in a HBR. Please, please, I do not care how long it adds to queue time, get the Cadets out of Tier 1 games! You are ruining the experience of these new players the game so desperately needs.

Is anything being done to fix QP? It got noticeably worse in the last patch. Obviously the hotfix didn't help anything. Is this being addressed or not?

Since the event queue has been disabled, MM is back to normal.

Its not big deal to lose to him. But if you win, you ll be a cadet hero.

Don't wine, look at TTB. He is running alone, using good positions and tactics. How about to learn a little from him.

I am even thinking of "recruiting" TTB, DATA, Bradul and the other good ones on some matches where they only get cadets or newbies to teach them....

Think of it, you are new in MWO and get a Tutorial in your first week from one of the those !?!

I was cadet with start Tier 3 two years ago... Fall to Tier 4 fast, but never to Tier 5.

They are working on splitting the MM for QP vs EQ, so that work may take a little time but they are well aware it's a problem. Just need to sit tight and try to have fun.

I was not whining about dying or getting killed by him. It is the simple fact that he should have NEVER been in a game with Tier3/4/5 players. As far as the game, he was in a stalker of some sort with a lot of mid or short range stuff and got 2 kills. I was in a Kodiak3 with 4Guass and also got 2 kills. I was already damaged from earlier in the game so I was taken out by him in about two volleys of fire. Once again its nothing to do with TTB personally (and ive watched a lot of his videos as well as a few other players in the past year or so before I finally got a laptop that could run this game.) I had the suspicion that this was happening and read some other posts about it, once I saw him in the game I figured he had to be T1 or T2.

Its ok, you dont see him anymore.

Now its the same boring depressing tier 1-2, with one-side organized fights.
