Happy Mech Dad day, to all you Dads who play Mechwarrior Online (let's face it, that's apparently most of us). I shall be spending mine doing gardening with my kid, like a proper Dad, and then looking at the Crusader - Thinking it might well be worth buying thanks to those lovely high energy mounts and rocket launchers soon being a great way to fill out extra missile slots. Must go - aformentioned kid wants her pancakes.

Looking at the crusader myself... I don't like the fact that the majority of it's hard points are in it's arms, being the most easily damaged and lost part of the mech.
That being said, it looks very cool.

Yep you'll want to not shield too hard with the arms, I am mostly worried about the legs - they appear to be substantially thicc, as the young lads say.

Happy Mech Dad day to all. As a Mech Dad myself I looked forward to getting some games in while my son mowed the lawn but PGI and Error 13 took care of that.

Woke up, made the kids breakfast, sent them off to church with grandma.
Got about two hours to relax.
Time enough to check how much call to arms will cost, since I won't be playing mwo any time soon.

Is the unit still active? I'd like to speak with someone in leadership if possible.

I saw the thread title and came in ready to defend Mechdads against whatever ageist trip was being levelled at them, only to find that it was me who started a happy Father’s Day thread. Lawl.
