Ha! I just had my first ever event match and the opposing team had 3 of the same Unit in a group. They had synched a drop with 4 teammates, but one of them got sent onto our team. Makes the matches nice even and fair. Yeah right.

That’s called “sync dropping”, it’s been a thing since forever. You’re on comms, you’re all ready, and you press launch in 3… 2… 1… go. And viola, some of you get in the same match.

But some in this Sync Dropping might end up on opposing sides of the 2 Teams. ;)

I saw this happen. Didn't seem like a big deal as the 1 on my side was being stalked by his 3 clanmates that ended up on the other side.

It was amusing and the game went on as any other PUG would go.

Sync dropping is a bit awkward but general consensus seems to be that the game would have less players and a lot less streamers if players couldn't coordinate with their friends or community members like that.

Never gonna get tired of bads blaming people playing with their buddies for their own badness.

Oh...hold on. Wait a minute. Yeah, got that backwards. Never not going to be fed up with bads blaming people for playing with their buddies for their own badness.

Spent last night syncdropping my *** off with my brother in the Med/Light Caustic Domination event. Not to cheese the system and get on the same team, but specifically hoping to wind up on opposite sides so we could hunt each other down. Was the most fun either of us have had in MWO in months, ****-talking each other and keeping score on Sibling Murder over Discord while doing our best to fight and kill and Be Credit To Team. Bads who can't aim, can't maneuver, and have no idea when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em can sod off; nothing in the game says I can't click "Launch" around the same time someone else does.

There is absolutely nothing you could do with it.

Now was it total stomp? Was it total stomp because of those 3?

Not sure what this has to do with OPs post, some people sync dropped yes but I can see nothing about bad behavior or useless flexing.
