Well, you don't.

Think, it's most likely just quad Light Gauss Rifle -- same length, you could have just misread it. Simplest explanation.

Though, I guess pics or didn't happen -- and if you got pics, well then ****.

Yeah, heavy goose doesn’t fit in arms, even on mechs without lower actuators, so it’s impossible.

4x IS Gauss is possible but only badly (no ammo or speed), but more doable on clan mechs. 4x light Gauss is the most likely option though, as it’s been a meme build for a while on some IS assaults.

With just anh-1a quad gauss well not that good build.
Bit hard to see how even tonnage slots would work with 4xHGR anh-1a Twin Gauss & Twin HGR

IF we could critslot split however we want in this game... anh-1a Quad HGR (AMS ammo & CASES are there to present extra slots and tonnage required to upgrade those two GR to HGR)
So yeah totally viable build, if you could charge all of them at once though... with skilltree 6x100 dmg alphas would probably run out of health before ammo.

All IS mechs can accommodate max 10-slot weapons in its arms in MWO.
Hence it's impossible to fit IS Heavy Gauss & IS LBX20 (both of which are 11-slot weapons) into the arms of IS mechs.

Therefore It's impossible for IS mechs to have 4x Heavy Gauss (or even 4x LBX20 for that matter).

IS Heavy Gauss & IS LBX20 can only fit into ballistic LT/RT of IS mechs, and never in its arms.
Certain dual ballistic LT/RT mechs can accomodate 2x Heavy Gauss (or 2x LBX20) in LT/RT,
eg: ANH-1A/1X/2A, FNR-5/5B/5E/6R, NSR-9P, etc. etc.

It would be brilliant if MWO would introduce 11-slot arms for IS Assaults! ;)

I suppose it could have been some visual error although i've never seen it before, it was definitely 4 heavy.. I was pretty shocked..

I was kicking myself after for not screen shotting.. I even debated bringing this up because i know this forum and the screenshot thing.

I've seen it twice i may get a third chance.

Could it be 4x Heavy PPCs? That is doable. Technically so is 2x Heavy Gauss and 2x HPPCs, but not in a good build.

Depends on what they cut the engine down to. It's possible to run an ANH with 2xHPPC, 2xHGauss, a 250 STD, endo, double sinks, and 4 tons of HG-ammo... Most practical way to do it would also involve throwing both HPPCs into the right arm and stripping most of the armor from the left (and some from the legs) for tonnage. It's be slow as hell, and therefor incredibly vulnerable to fast movers, but an alpha of 80 that is 100% pin-point, front-loaded damage is no joke.

Seems bit hot, before skilltree 70.68 heat with 50 heat cap for alpha, other than that could be nice toy

It's actually quite doable, especially on the 1A with the armor quirks; https://mwo.nav-alph...fa117dca_ANH-1A

Though Snubs definitely would be more meta; https://mwo.nav-alph...b7fd1eae_ANH-1A

Due to the sheer power of heavy gauss it cannot be mounted in arms or the weapon firing would rip the arms off a mech, and that's why they cannot be mounted on arms and only side torsos or torso. It's so powerful it can even knock mechs over even the ones firing it.
