I was playing a couple hours this weekend, but failed to recogize the event queue is open at all. Maybe you should make it more visible in game that the queue is open... have it illuminated, blinking, what ever... I am sure I am not the only one who missed it and would have participated.

First time for me doing any of the Drop Ship type of events, I had quite a bit of fun with them. My only true issue came about in the Boiling Point Domination mission in Caustic Valley. I couldn't see the control zone on the map due to the color. I am a bit color blind. Typically playing a map doesn't cause that much of an issue for me, thermal vision or night vision tend to give me the contrast needed to see what to shoot at.... even if it winds up being my own team now and then (sorry!). This one though, I had no idea where to go aside from 'follow the people who seem to know what they are doing'.

Didn't have enough of the Urban Mechs to think I could participate in the last event (only 2 owned). But that wasn't too much of an issue to me. I've tried the mech and I have no issue admitting I am terribad at running that one around. lol

Picked up a couple other mechs in the event though that are swiftly becoming new favorites for a change of pace. This was quite an enjoyable event overall and look forward to the next one!

Only catch is, 3x nothing = nothing. We don't normally get MC rewards just for playing, so there's nothing to triple.

Neat. I ******* got the Broiler. Built it with 2x UAC20 + 2x HLL + ERML, and it demolishes.

If only UAC20s don't jam that ******* much, or at all.

Mad Cat Mk. II would be a better choice for running Ultracannons.

Not really. I prefer something more nimble and sturdy.

It's also inefficient for MCII to just run two AC20s there instead of the usual dakka.

Not to mention I also have a choice to run with 3x SRM6A + 2x MPL on top of 2x UAC20.

They can also add a pair of HLLs and one ER Medium laser that you described above.

It's a trade-off: Higher placed and less jamming UACs on Mad Cat Mk. II or more quirked Supernova.

Yeah, but they don't have +1 HSL on the UAC20 do they?

Kind of defeats the point if I have to spread my shots for the UAC20 to work -- which if you don't know, you can only fire 1 before GH.

With your UACs jammed and the enemy coming for you, you can comfort yourself that you do not have GH.
