Snubs don't need nerfed, and neither does Derp.
Cauldrons gonna Cauldron, but I'm planting a flag here.

Snubs are fine. Literally nobody in-game is complaining.

Derp is also fine. How many skill points does it require?
Sorry your lurms suck, but Derp isn't just for lurms.

maybe reduce dep to max skill tree = .25 second so enhanced tracking skills can do some good?
as for snubs, eh your milage varies. i get more use out of LPPCs and constantly spend on new ones cause of it. I use em like energy ac5s

Snubs damage per heat (mostly because of splash) is stupidly good compared to any other energy weapon with similar range.

Not enough in current skilltree iteration, last one I didn't take derp to almost any of my mechs now I take it to almost every mech. Back in the day we had conversation in guild that derp should have never been invented it's just stupid good same as old seismic where you could move and see blibs... basically free wall hack, that got nerfed... derp never got nerfed.

No it is not but it is one of the things that is making lurming stupidly hard or pretty much impossible.
There used to be meme video where some streamer played lurms with his foot very successfully . I'd love someone to do it again with new map design, shitloads of new mechs with ECM and stupidly cheap Derp.

You can do double the dmg for the same weight as a snub with med lasers, and they're hitscan.

I mean, if you want to choose a weapon system that requires you to wait for your targeting computer to tell you that you're allowed to fire homing missiles at an enemy that you probably aren't skilled enough to hit with your own aim (why else would you take such a garbage weapon), then there's gonna be some drawbacks.
