Will we be able to play with each other?

If I make another accounts to play with him on his faction, will I get banned for having multiple accounts?


If I join a Merc Group or if I'm a solo operative going all lone wolf, I know I might be able to play with him because of how the matchmaking will pull in people to fill out games, but if I'm in another faction, can we form a "party" and join the matchmaking queue together? :x

Kurita and Liao don't share a border, it's unlikely that you will ever meet during the set period.

The Draconis Combine is house Kurita, the Capellan Confederation is house Liao.

the bigger question is, should you really be friends if you cannot play for the same faction ???
if he is reluctant to join the Kurita forces with you and your not willing to be part of Liao

If you join one house and your friend joins a directly a posing house then expect to be shooting each other. The Draconis combine and the Cappellens have a common foe. While they my not work hand in hand, they certainly have grounds to work together. No one knows how Faction diplomacy will work though right now. Also, remember the clans are coming, for the most part there is a unite front to repel the Clans within the Inner Sphere. If all of this fails, then I suggest you get a new best friend

The Capellan's aren't a bad sort, somewhat misfortunate in recent years, what with 2 insane leaders one after the other and being the biggest losers in the 4th succession war, however they've been doing better recently.

As for the border, the actual border is shared with Terra at the common meeting point. Once the hostilities are over, the Capellans should have their occupided worlds back, and trade will once again flow between our two nations.

If you had to make a choice between which nation to be from and fight for however, being a citizen of the Draconis Combine is the obvious choice. We're simply better.

I think what will be one of the driving forces of the entire gameplay is your House loyalty and you will come to respect and form bonds with other players of your House and units you fight with on the battlefield.

No one really knows exactly how the gameplay will play out as yet so while you might not be able to fight on the side with your friend in the Capellan Confederation (all hail His Excellency and the proud warrior of House Liao!), the arrival of the Clans is going to be an unknown variable where you just might find yourself fighting alongside us in some of the notable and historic battles.

actually, in the time period stated the free worlds league, draconis combine and capellan confederation joined together in a mutual defense pact to combat the might of the federated commonwealth, so at the very least you guys will be allies. But wont the drac need to be on the periphery border in a year or so?
