Firepower 91.5 and they say ghost heat brings Clan mechs into line with IS.. That really isn't happening.. Whats the point when you only need to alpha everything once.. Crazy.

If you do not kill your enemy with one shot - and you can not always count on it - , you are going to find out that you are sitting in a 'Mech that is pretty close to shutdown, while having a pretty annoyed enemy in front of you.

And since Clan Heavy Large lasers have the longest burn time of all Clan lasers, you should not really expect that you will always keep them on that one section of the enemy 'Mech.

And have I mentioned that Terra Therma Classic is a quite popular map these days? This is not the best map for deploying in hot-running laser boats.

Yeah, MAD-IIC and STK-7D are the laservom kings. And are a good example of the pros and cons of both IS and Clan style lasers.

MAD-IIC-2 is more specialized and borders on being a meme. If people realize what you are doing and push you, its over.

Thats when I tried the 3-HLL + 4-MPL build vs the sync 3-HLL + 4-ERLL.

54 damage 3-HLL is a decent hit if you can land it all. and leaves 28 MPulse for brawling since they're the lowest heat medium laser the clans have, and you gotta have a little wubwubwub satisfaction.

And yes I think in most maps, JJ's are more about mobility to get where you're going and not getting trapped in trenches of doom since the big nerf 4 years ago.

I try to sync up quirks to their best for any given mech,

Although I don't play for meta, never have, never will.
