I should know this but my only focus for UAVs has been shooting them down.

What is UAV detection and how is it done?

I was told when you pop/deploy a UAV and one of your team uses it to get a lock

so you have to deploy UAVs

like me you where probably thinking I shot down all these UAVs what gives

hope this info is correct

Like above your team mates must get a lock but it also counts for canceling ecm which leads to a lock. When events are going on having a uav or two can make a lot of nice bonus pay and score.

Simple, pop a UAV. Every enemy that it detects is a UAV Detection and is awarded respectively.
