Thanks for the good sale. My kids were hoping to see a "sales 4 science" with an in game 50% off weapons/engines etc. That would be nice. In terms of which mechs should be in sale, like others have said the ones that launched with the Plat packs (so we could buy at a discount other varients to make them plat) and anything that got quirks would be a good start. Last year I think it was ALL mechs were 50% over black friday and cyber monday if I recall? Or maybe it was just the MC ones? Don't want to thread crap, keep up the good work, we appreciate it!

It takes 45,500 GSP to fully skill up a mech ( 91 Skill Points ) X ( 500 GSP per Skill Point ).
@ 10,000 GSP per 1,000 MC

Therefore it takes 455 MC to fully skill out a new mech.

Tip: You can start off your mech with "only" 15 to 40 Skill Points" to help kickstart it!

You are wrong in terminology.
1 GSP(General Skill Point) = 1 Skill Point
1 Skill Point = 500 XP/GXP

It costs 455 MC to convert 45500 XP to GXP, if you have spare XP on another mech.
If you don't, 100 GSP(Global?! Skill Point) bundle costs 1250 MC.

And you need 239 Skill Point to unlock all nodes.

First off... Thank You to both you and Matt for putting the B.F./C.M. (using that as shorthand in my post for "Black Friday / Cyber Monday" so that I may avoid overbloating this post) Boost Event & Sales up for everyone to enjoy. It is extremely appreciated.

To answer your question about what Mech Chassis to put in an On-Sale state... Perhaps it would be a good idea to cover them all, along with all the Engines, Equipment, Weapons, and Consumables in the game. Maybe even all the Mech Bundles on both the Website and In-Game Store could benefit from the same effect, and Clan forms of those still need to be added in order to satisfy that part of the crowd. We have the theme of B.F./C.M. going on at the moment, and the Mech Bays along with Heros/Champions are already being discounted, therefore keeping with the theme could be thought of as the best idea to utilize. Adding all of what I suggest – and not some limited set like others are only asking for – would likely bring a lot of positive P.R. (For others unaware while reading, that is shorthand for "Public Relations"...) from players of any vintage, inclusive of past and new. Having that positive P.R. should result in considerable Real $$$ Sales via the website in order to fuel MWO's growth in the future, even if a few more things there end up having to be discounted as well.

Skilling up my Platinum 09 mechs is a breeze right now!

Two shiny new Hero's in my mech bays as well!

If we're being asked what to have on sale - engines! For some reason I find spending 5 000 000 C-Bills on a new mech to be reasonable, but the same amount on just an engine...that stings!!!

As far as I remember it can be found in the middle lower part of the main ingame screen.

My fault. And yours. I misread your post and you misread the announcement:

4x XP CONVERSION

• Convert XP at 4 times the normal rate
  
• 100 XP converted for 1 MC!

You can`t convert XPs to MCs, it`ll simply cost only 1 MC to convert 100 XP to 100 GXP instead of 1 MC for 25 XP.

Intermittent topical dyslexia. I see now. There is no XP to MC it just takes less MC to convert XP.
So this is nothing I need personally, but many do. Thanks
