when you are already watching you can just go to the website and redeem the code, you are already on a device with internet connection, no need to wait for another day.
Also they mentioned that there would be something special and mentioned the give away after the match and the interviews They put up the code and were still talking for some time before the stream ended.

Well I did watch the relevant part of the stream aka the match, but anyways whatever no real need for that or anything.
