The Steam Packs for MWO are many years old now. Is there any thought of adding/updating these?
And while slightly off thread will we ever see an update to the in game Store bundles? They are great packages but so many missing mechs!!!

Your steam packs are also quite difficult to tell what mechs you are actually getting, several of the descriptions say multiple mechs and only list one.

This is the first time that these Steam IS/Clan Light/Medium/Heavy/Assault Mech Packs are on sale!
FYI, these were introduced into Steam around summer 2021, so these are very recent mech packs!

Edit: I myself bought 10+ mech packs like the ones above

Epilogue:

Update: Just found out during actual Steam transaction:

You can actually gift to a friend for any of these Steam mech packs you've bought!
Need to specify this choice during actual purchase.

I have already bought 1 pack of Solaris 7 Hero pack through STEAM, and it doesn't allow me to purchase the 2nd pack. If I use my son's account and gift the 2nd Solaris 7 Hero pack to me, does that works? Or it won't allow me to claim the 2nd pack?

(Someone correct me if I'm wrong!)

1. Unfortunately you can only buy 1x Solaris7 Hero Pack from Steam, for each MWO account that you own.
ie: You cannot buy a 2nd pack of Solris7 Hero Pack from Steam for the same account.

2. However, you can also buy a second Solaris7 Hero Pack directly from MWO website, I believe!

I wanted to buy the 2nd Solaris Hero pack is because in STEAM, the 50% discount + currency conversion is very attractive as compared to buying from MWO website (>50% difference even if considering MWO website is having 30% Discount). Since I can't buy the 2nd Solaris Hero pack from STEAM, then I'll just forget about it.

I have also tried to use my son's STEAM account to buy as a gift for me but since STEAM already registered that I have the pack, it won't allow any other person to send it as a gift to me.

Thanks for helping to clarify my doubt.


Will MWO communicate with STEAM in the future they will allow us to buy multiple packs of the same contents in STEAM (eg. Solaris 7 Hero Pack, Clan Light Mech Pack, etc.)?
