why is it not permanent?

It's nice to be able to find players so fast. It's good to develop tactics alone.
I love so much.

I am improving myself.

If you speak of Solaris then i wish you the best of fun Posted Image

But be aware - this is an event that is running for a certain time!

For feedback you would probably find more publicity in the General Discussion forum or the Solaris forum.

i know solaris i mean vs matches simple solo low score low c-bill stay permanent without a solo score ranking. It's nice to find a quick match. It's great to see what you can do alone.

I am not sure - Solaris is 1vs 1 and 2 vs 2 gamemode.

All other are the 12 vs 12 modes that are Quickplay, Comp Play etc.

I am not sure what we speak about...

solaris a contest..
I mean simple easy game introduction. I'm talking about the quick play option that is in every game.

solaris was designed as a competition.

What you see now is not solaris but a cropped version of solaris.

Thx, now i see, cool you do better Posted Image

The Feedback will have more weight in the General Discussion Forum though - off topic the people will think it is about another game or something completely different.

Keep up the fight!

If they make it permanent it becomes old really fast, I d rather have it as a monthly or weekly event with worth while rewards and stuff

On a side note, I started playing this game during the last months of solaris being a thing, I hated it, would t like it to come back. It was too slow, too one-sided, a gimmick failing hard at being its own game parallel to MWO.

The current event is an example of solaris done right, the only thing missing is Duncan Fisher.

You find matches fast in event queue because there is no matchmaker.
Most of the games were boring because I couldn't find opponents that could fight back. With some kind of stupid simple MM like try to match tier of opponents it would be way more enjoyable for me at least.

Won probably 80% or more of the event matches I played reckon lack of MM played a role, some of it I just adjusted to the loadouts that people were using during those times (only thing I couldn't beat with my loadouts was micro/small vomit to the legs).

I didn't mind the event, but I after the Steiner map I got pretty bored of it fast. Would have been better on limited size versions of the rest of the maps. Don't think the people that really enjoyed the even would like it much if it had a MM and applied towards your ranking.

100% win rate unless LRMs used as main and only weapon...

but bad players would get bad players against them and good players other good players, I can see that only as win-win situation to everyone. and it wouldn't have to affect ranking at all just use base tier as MM.

but we played few hours and encountered only one opponent we recognized by name.

The flamer boys and micro/small vomit guys got me running less than ideal builds. When I geared up to deal with flamers I'd inevitably pull a vomit.

The reason most of the players asking for it wouldn't like it is because they'd get people in their own skill tier - or returning players like me that are stuck working through the lower tiers. It should affect ranking, just at a smaller amount of points per match because it's about 1/4 of a match - though technically its 100% of what you should be aiming to output at a minimum.

Well flamers didn't even really work in real Solaris just because of that... but event queue Solaris isn't really Solaris.
If I remember correctly consumables were banned in real Solaris also.

I bet they worked super well against the people that were running most vomit - or like me half the time having fun running splat packs. Dual LBX10 wrecked all those flamers builds though, and most other stuff I ran into, just couldn't output fast enough for the sl vomit shredding the legs. Clan heavy is definitely not my choice of mechs to run in though, so in the w/l not disappointed at all - if it was mediums of either side I probably would have run a lot more matches just because I find that brawling to be massively more fun.

I stopped playing shortly after the Solaris release, so I don't recall most of what the restrictions were other than the weird attempts to slot mechs based on some (I'm guessing) jarl's type meta builds. Didn't think the mode was a bad idea, just a bad idea to try to force the game to be about it.

Flamers didn't work because they were super nerfed in real solaris, they barely increased the heat of the opponent.

Oh you meant in the old one, got ya. They seem like the go from useless to a bit silly now, but that's most of the weapons.
